Sarahdestiny · 19/04/2024 15:38

I'm currently on phone to they passing me to disputes to said mines took to long x

LancsMcG · 19/04/2024 15:52

@Sarahdestiny got through to a case worker - it's still in a queue - saying it shouldn't be too much longer but they've got 5000 cases open at the minute

I updated them from the appointment that I attended yesterday to SaLT where they again confrmed that my 3 year old (3 and a half) was on ADD (ADHD) which confirms what the private paediatric consultant said back in January - he's been seen by inclusion teacher who has referred him to Education Psychologist, and he's on referral for a EHCP and also waiting to see community paedatrics (but that's a huge wait time - hence why we took him to see a private one) - we were awarded LRC but we thought it should be MRC hence the MR

Sarahdestiny · 19/04/2024 16:29

They couldn't transfer me through because to busy so have to wait for a call back next week so annoying after being on hold age's and they probably won't ring back 😒

Sarahdestiny · 19/04/2024 17:48

Couldn't put me through to a certain team and said my claims are with a different team now and apoligiaing because i am week 9 and should have had a decision and dont no whats taking them so long & requested a call back next week 'apprently' won't hold my breathe

LancsMcG · 22/04/2024 09:15

Good luck everyone for this week - surely we must be hearing something soon 😳

@Jonesy0102 I think they just all talk rubbish - as I mentioned when I called up last Tuesday and got through to the relevant team that woman said they were up to the 5/2 MRs

LoudBee · 23/04/2024 09:37

It’s crazy, we just want someone to look again at the evidence and information, which they clearly did not do the first time! My daughter has ADHD and hypermobility, sensory seeking disorder, they told me she did not have a diagnosis of ADHD, but she does! Also sleeping in my bed was age appropriate, she is 7! She sleeps in with me so I can see to her more easily, and that’s not even the start! I was just not happy with them telling me, so I just wanted to put them straight… we shall see?

I doubt they’ll have a mountain of Mrs to go through like they do new claims I think they just try and frustrate people via waiting

@Sarahdestiny oh no - how did you find out ? did you call again ? very sorry to hear

Sarahdestiny · 23/04/2024 11:14

@LancsMcG yes I called up x

sjm100 · 23/04/2024 11:19

@Sarahdestiny thanks, I'm week 7 this week, I'm just trying to keep it out of my head for now, I'm hoping that my daughter will get accepted onto the ASD pathway soon, her therapist is leading the referral and fingers crossed we will be able to add it as evidence x

LancsMcG · 23/04/2024 13:30

I've just called again just now - got through after 7 minutes - and the person transferred me to the DRS (Dispute resolution centre) and they've told me that they are working on MRs up to the 7th Feb - so still a bit to wait yet

When I called last Tuesday they were working up to the 5th Feb - so they seem to be working extremely slowly!

Well both of @Sarahdestiny’s was the 16th of Feb amd she’s had an answer off one today I wouldn’t believe that really

LancsMcG · 23/04/2024 14:43

@Jonesy0102 that's what I told them too - so I give up!

Sarahdestiny · 23/04/2024 14:56

@LancsMcG they said exactly the same to me about my other mr & I said that's strange because I just got a decision for my other with the same scan date n she didn't no what to say so think they just tell you anything tbh doubt it will be long now before you get a decision but worst part is you gotta keep ringing to even no the outcome as I didn't get a text or anything and if I waited I wouldn't no until I receive a letter in 1 to 2 weeks time so thank god I rang now I can start a process of the TRibunal ect x

Emmal1234567 · 23/04/2024 15:45

How do u go about doing a tribunal if yeh get declined I havnt a clue
thnk mine will also be refused again my daughter is only 2 and half heard it can be hard to get it at her age gunna rng up to moz see what they say this time

Sarahdestiny · 23/04/2024 18:12

@Emmal1234567 just Google tribunal dla and it will come up on the gov site telling you step by step also once you get your madatory reconsideration letter it will tell you everything on that as you can't submit tribunal until you have the letter as it will have info on there you will need ..Also if you have any more relevant evidance after they have made there decision you should still send it in as if its good enough evidance they can still change your decision in your favour I was told today on the phone by them x
