@GreenDonkey I’m 2/11 called yday and was told it would be going to decision maker by end of week so hopefully by tomorrow it is with decision maker.. fingers crossed x

@bonz2023 i honestly now know not to belive a word they say , its been such a weird few days with what one tells you to the next. Id love to be where they work for a day to see what on earth goes on there x i really hope your wait isnt too much longer as it doesnt seem fair im done and my date was after yours makes no sense at all x

Yes I called yesterday too and they didn’t say that - they said if I don’t hear by mid March to call back 🙄.. I will call again next weds as I have been doing if I haven’t heard anything!

@Soph1517 - I'm only on 10 weeks waiting from scanned date and they told me mines was in the pile for a DM, but yet people are being told the same thing who are on week 17/18 of waiting 🤦‍♀️ they sent me a letter saying 15 weeks, but on the phone told me 18 & 20 weeks on 2 separate occasions.

I am in shock! Just seen a payment coming in! Scan date 25/10. Works out as MRC plus Christmas bonus. My heart is pounding. So happy! Very very happy with these rates. Tbh would have been happy enough with LRC. Just want to know how long awarded for now but won't be able to call for a few days now so hopefully letter comes soon

@RainsbowandBunnies Hiya how long was you waiting for UC backpay? I'm on 3 weeks and not had it sorted yet x

@Gracie1909 hey so reported the changes on 14th had the we'll accept late reporting letters on 16th and 22nd had call to say has been calculated and issuing payment will be in account next few days. Previous statements have been updated etc
It's bad that they don't have a set timeframe to sort it for everyone. Have you called recently ? X

Hi all just wondering if someone has an knowledge with UC backpay. I was awarded DLA last month and done the Change of circumstances on my UC account.
My question is..is UC supposed to backdate the carers Ellement and child disability payments to the reward date of DLA? Seems mine was backdated but a very minimal amount I'm just a little confused.

Yes exactly the same! Think they are sent out as standard on your 15th week. What I’ve learnt from long time lurking is that it generally goes to the DM 2 weeks after that (anyone can correct me if I haven’t been listening properly in class).. but someone else has said on here that our scan dates went to DM this week.. I assume that info was taking on the phone though and as I have also learnt .. they lie on the phone! Fingers crossed for next week !! X

Hi when i informed UC they quickly issued a letter on my journal for me saying they owe me some money however this was only 600. I knew this calculation was way off so i rang them explained on the phone that i want the disabled child element backdated and now it has gone to a decision maker to decide if they will backdate it which they should as entitled to full backpay to start of DLA claim. UC should not need telling how to do a simple backdate calculation but i think they will try not pay any opportunity they get.

@GreenDonkeyah ok, yep next week things should be moving by the sounds of it! Well we hope, I called once she literally was so blunt I thought why bother again, I’m sure next week my curiosity will kick in and take over

Hi Emma - this sounds a bit like our son (who is 3 and a half)
We were awarded LRC last Friday (I've put in a RM) as I think it should be MRC

They back dated £376.
Carers Ellement is £186 and disabled child Ellement is £456. Definitely way off.
I will call them today and see.

Disabled child Ellement is £456 only for high rate care

Low rate middle rate is £146

Scan date 23/10 got told Monday was with a DM don't no if to ring this morning 😟

Hi all! Been lurking for forever on here scan date 25/10, checked bank account at 2am last night when my daughter woke up and had back pay of £1739 so I think HRC as it’s been 17 weeks, I had 2 letters and one text on 05/02, good luck to you all fingers crossed today for you, I’m going to update UC this morning

@Amyz123mummyto3 im 20/10 was told I was also with dm on Monday I’m going to ring up at 9 as I’m 18 weeks today!
