Hey all. New here. Have spent some days catching up 😂. I feel as though iv already waited a life time. My youngest was rushed to hospital almost in coma on 9th oct 23 diagnosed type 1 diabetes. I then had to wait 3 months before i could put claim in. Rang 9th jan, forms returned 15th and scanned 30th jan.
My eldest got dla for asd & adhd. She was given award from age 11 to 16 then went to pip. With her claim i had to do a mr and i sent copy of what adhd/asd is. They then rang stating the first case manager was wrong to decline. So be petty in your mr. Spell it out to them like they are toddlers.

Posted my daughter's DLA form off, was signed for yesterday. Anyone know how long they're taking to scan on at the moment? I assume I'll need to call them in a few days to confirm my scan date 😊

Mine went to CM Monday afternoon and they made a decision Tuesday! Found out by phoning up Wednesday morning. No texts or letters xx

Mine went on Monday and I’m still waiting.. no text or money in account. I’m hoping it’s not a decline scan date 26/10/23

Wondering the same thing as I was sent to DM on Monday and not got any texts or anything yet. Hopefully we hear soon and get some good news!!

How long did the Dm take ?

@Lucie0108 ill give them a ring tomorrow as I’m 18 weeks then I rang Monday and was told it was with a dm but I’ve not heard anything since!

I couldnt wait for that man to call so i called just now the lady said there were no new notes on there since Tuesday when i called so shes going to email him to see if there is any updates , i asked if it was still with dm she said yes and a decision hadnt been made yet she said they may be waiting to find the missing evidence as its in the notes that there is evidence missing at there end. She said either her or the man i spoke to tue would call back today to let me know of any updates 🙄🙄🙈 if/when they call they havent found it still im going to resend it all tomorrow 🙈x stressed lol all this and ill prob get a decline x

scan 26th Oct, nothing since txt on 5th Feb to say still looking. Want to call but dont want any bad news either....

When ringing up do you just if there are any updates on the claim?

@WhereDidTheTimeGo888 I would check about the UC we've not been getting anything due to our earnings and I received a payment for this period because of the disabled child and carers elements added - I do more hours than you and partners full time.
I used this website www.turn2us.org.uk
and the calculators were pretty accurate hope it helps xx

I dont know, Ive been too chicken to ring them, just keep watching the posts on here. Keep thinking it cant be much longer but since they might not txt either way could be weeks before I get a decline letter. Think I will wait until Monday

Sometimes the next day, sometimes longer, keep that proof of signed for, give it up to 2 weeks atleast before a letter is sent out to say your scan date, I haven't received my letter yet and it's been 3 weeks since been signed for but I did call Monday and they confirmed it was on the system and a letter was on the way, we have a long way to go now lol. Hope that helps

Can someone help me with UC please. I am unsure how I update my son now receives DLA so I click on children and make a change or caring for someone and make a change? I’m on lwcra and receive pip so not sure if I do it on mine or partners login, I know I can’t I can’t get carers for him whilst I get lwcra but wanting to add the disabled child element.
