i sent hospital letters stating all the medications she taking and also all the recent steroid injections she had to have recently, the letter clear states the mess her little body is in he arms were completely fuses like chicken wings would not open. You don’t really get shit tonnes on paperwork for stuff like this like you do for ASD and adhd and stuff I think they got a bible work for my son but all the contact details and there for them to speak with the ppl they need to. If what I sent wasn’t enough. Any ways good luck everyone xx

@XxNatty1xX i think they are just generic at this point, if you read up a tad poor @Geordiemam33 got declined monday (told today when she called) yet still received a txt today stating they are looking at her claim x

Thanks for replying!! And sorry to hear about that other claim being declined. Definitely appeal it!! None of it really makes sense to me!! Very stressful waiting for someone to decide if your child is entitled or not!! X

Well I'm totally confused, first letter stated my forms were received 29th November I sent them on 22nd, I called today and the lady said im on 16 weeks don't know how they have worked it out. I called for forms on 12th October. Not that I mind as I'm closer to a decision. She said be with a case manager in the nxt 2 weeks so hopefully not much longer 😅

Just had my first text. Is this a standard text? I'll be 15 weeks on Monday.

Hi All, scan date 19/09, declined by phone 26/01 did automatical MR on the phone and sent further evidence which was received 18/02. How long are MR taking? When should I call? Thanks

@Geordiemam33 its awful I don’t know what they expect to be sent I honestly think the whole system is a mess they make you wait all this time to decline it and you have to go through it all again

@Lulakate84 when I did my MR on Monday call handler said between 6-8 weeks for a new DM to look at it - I saw on a previous thread someone was still waiting after 11 weeks

well I hope they are ready I’m gonna drag evidence up from everywhere haha. I’m gonna speak with her drs, specialist nurse's, physio. mental health nurse, school senco the whole shebang haha, they will be sick of there lives shit thing is tho she will be 16 next Jan 🤣 but not the point il still try.

Thank you. I’ve had a quick look and think I might be able to claim but think it’ll be complicated as I’ve just went on long term sick. Might have to contact CAB for help applying.

@Geordiemam33 i honestly cannot believe that they’ve declined your daughter. Just from those few lines that you’ve written, anyone can see that she needs a hell of a lot more care. Makes you wonder if they even read some of the stuff that is sent in! So sorry. Hope you fight for it and get the top rate! Xx

Great news, really pleased for you, your scan date is after mine but apparently I'm going to hear end of March 🤷‍♀️

Can I ask what did you claim for physical or ASD/ADHD type condition? You don't have to tell me I just wondered if they are decided on different timescales by condition
