I've just had first text saying "we are still looking at your claim"

Does this mean anything productive?!?

Called this morning to check they changed bank details and this lady is saying it’s taking 20 weeks now for a decision. How is it 16 then 17, 20 and then now 21 weeks 🫤 These advisors are annoying as hell with their lies 😫

scan date 26/10/23 and with a DM since Monday I was told now I’m not so sure

@bonz2023 i just received that aswell like 3 mins ago lol x they told me Tuesday it was with a dm and that they will call me today with whats happening with my missing evidence x im hoping they are just generic lol x

I've just literally had the same, my new claim scan date is 9th Nov for twin 2 and coc was scanned on 28th Nov for twin 1 so I assume it's for twin 2. Fingers crossed we hear soon 🍀 x

Not sure I am posting on the correct thread so I apologise if I'm not. Just wondering if anything has gone though this. My son's renewal was up 09.01 and didn't receive any forms so called and they were sent out. They then said it would now be a new claim that will be marked as priority. Iv just called for an update and was told it's with decision maker but there is a note for them to call the school. Anyone have any experience with this? They never made contact with the school before and the senco only works part-time 🙄. Just looking for anyone's experience really. Thanks all.

Hi new here although been following for a while. I think I have a similar scan date as a few (sorry don’t know how to use this to tag people) scan date 2/11. Can I ask about CM and DM, and do they go from the one to the other? I did phone yesterday and was told with Case manager, but the line was so bad, it was hard to make out what was actually being said.

I’ve also just received the text to say still looking at claim considering the call handler told me Tuesday a decision was made but hadn’t been cleared yet so couldn’t see to tell me. Then a letter dropped in letter box knew was from DLA I thought here we go… was for my sons renewal to day they received it haha 🫣 so I’m currently on hold she said call back Friday but I can’t wait xx

Just got off the phone after phoning today and Monday . I've called to see if they have received vital evidence sent the 16th and it's still not scanned on .
Was told Monday should have a decision by 4th so call back . Today I was told takes weeks to scanned new evidence so give it another few weeks ,different story every time I ring .
So if it takes weeks to scan on and weeks with DM I will be looking at 20 weeks +
Scan date is the 27/10 so I'm at 17 weeks tomorrow .

@Mummaof4boysx what time did you speak to someone? only curious as i am also 2/11 i spoke to someone just after 9am who said it would be going to CM anytime from yday to friday wondering if it got sent yesterday afternoon possibly :) xx

@Geordiemam33 same as me i just got that txt im waiting for a call today for missing evidence, ill see what they say to you i was going to wait untill about 2 to see if they called xx let me know please ehat they say❤️x

Scan date 2/11 I called on Tuesday to see if my further evidence was recieved yet I sent free post on 6th Feb and was scanned through 13th Feb! And was told was waiting to be seen by DM so fingers crossed maybe next week? Hate this waiting game 😅🙈 x

@Cookieam my evidence still hadnt been scanned on Tuesday when i called and they signed for it 23/01 so 4 weeks tue just gone 🙈🙈 he put a urgent on it to find it as apparently mime was with a dm, hes ment to be calling today but we shall see x

I'm exactly the same as you, scan date 1/11 I also called yesterday and told the same thing. Chap I spoke to said 16-18 weeks. Mine is not with DM yet either 😔

i know its a long process but it seems unfair when people with later dates have had awards. Keep me posted if you hear anything

That's disgraceful .
I don't think they realise you just sit by the phone waiting for a call .
I feel like my life has been on hold for months

32 mins in and still on hold would think would be quieter this time of the day so not as long waiting. I feel like I’m gonna get told some BS. Seems like everyone just being fed it lately x
