I’m 26/10 and with DM from Monday and still no decision as yet either. I called early this morning and no news as yet. Xx

Scan date 16/11, called just now. The lady said there is a 20 week wait and i should hear back by 1st week in April.

I’m 24/10 too! Still nothing xxx

@bonz2023 I'm 3/11 called yesterday, said expect reply within 4 weeks.
They need to get a bloody move on 😵‍💫
This wait is driving me insane. I wasn't even thinking about it till I've seen end of oct claims getting sorted, like surely we must be soon!!!

@bonz2023 i think they totally lie to get you off the phone. I said people have been awarded after my date she just said depends on the DM. I want to phone again in all honesty it driving us all crazy this 🤣🤣

How can it depend on the DM if it hasn't gone to one yet 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

So ive updated GP I was on hold for an hour, panicked just incase wouldn't do it over phone that's why I asked also wanted to clarify if all old evidence was being looked at too (son was on Dla HRC HRM) from 5 (14now) but went into foster placement then a residential home feb last year before he come home in Oct last year but it got cancelled in residential so needed re apply as new claim lucky I asked because the note wasn't put on system about old evidence and it's with DM now scan date 14/11 but how true that is who knows 🤣🙄

@bonz2023 i know it just doesn’t make sense at all. Oh well don’t think this will be our last thread 😂😂

Good Grief, I got through after just over an hour. The fella sounded like he was about 12 and he was huffing and puffing whilst looking to see what was going on with the claim.. i really thought he had some good news for me but nope.. still in the queue they are taking 16 weeks. He said once they are with a decision maker they could take 2 or 3 weeks to make the decision. I suppose its the amount of stuff they have to sift through and calls they have to make for our claims. All i know is this is long lol....

well done to those of you that had yours approved and good luck to all those waiting. Not too long now hopefully

Hi everyone. First time I have ever posted on mumsnet and only joined because of this thread.

Scan date 27/10.

Called yesterday for update. Was told it is with a decision maker and if not heard anything after 3 weeks to call back.

We have an initial appt with the Paediatrician this week so will have more supporting evidence. No idea if it would even be worth sending at this point.

oh i also asked if it was done from date we call or the date its scanned he said the date its scanned onto the system

Is it taking 16 weeks to get to a DM or 16 weeks for a decision?
