I've just had a letter asking me to send 3 sources of ID.

I'm assuming that's my ID and not DDs as most 9 year olds don't have an electricity bill to send?

Slightly nervous about how long it will take them to return my driving licence...

@Lolly966 just had the complaints department phone me he is escalating it for me. He said it totally wrong how I have been ignored. I should have it completed within 3 days. He was such a lovely man. Xx

@Tiredmummy1235 keep an eye on old payments they will all go up to the date it’s been. Backdated then money in your account I’ve had no letter to say I was getting that amount x

@Tiredmummy1235 the last thing I had to sort was the bedroom tax they take off cause I have a 3 bed but two boys they say I have. A spare room now he gets dla he can have his own room it’s taken them forever so at 4 I sent a message saying I’m sick of being ignored I want the complaints number at 4.15 message back all sorted money will be in my account on Monday all payments backdated think you have to really get on at them x

Well 13 months after putting a change of circumstances in my son has been won high rate mobility at appeal 🥳
I’d say definitely fight if you think your child is entitled.

@Lolly966 had a decision maker phone me this morning she was so horrible. Saying that I didn’t update a change in 2020 for two months. I said I did I remember phoning so looks like there going to try get out of it. Makes me want to cry. Xx

@Tiredmummy1235 no way! That’s an absolute joke! Don’t let her put you off, I’d ask for another decision maker to speak to you, they surely can’t get out of owing your child money! She sounds horrible, they can’t excuse you of not changing circumstances 4 years ago that’s mental I’d leave a note asking to speak to someone higher xx

@Lolly966 I said to I did if you look you can see I have. I said this was lockdown my letter arrived late saying my son got changed to middle rate care. She said ok I will sort it out but it won’t be today. She hasn’t done nothing since. If they try say I owe them money I will just appeal to. It’s not my money it’s my daughter’s money. So they can take it out of money not hers. Xx

@Tiredmummy1235 so she didn’t send you the letters for special circumstances apply? I’m still waiting on backpay. It’s an actual joke, surely you can’t owe them money, it was lockdown and I swear UC was just rolling out around then, they can’t take your daughters money that’s owed to her that would be so wrong and I agree if they try to say you do appeal it and ask for someone higher up xx
