DLA wait times 2023 Part 10

JimnJoyce · 21/07/2023 10:43

hi thought i'd start a new thread as the last one is completely full and won't let me post.

Well I've just spoken to a very understanding man on the phone who confirmed that my daughters application is with the decision making team and I should hear within the next 3 weeks which would take us up to 16 weeks.
I told him I would like to make a formal complaint about the inordinately long wait times and he assured me he would make that known and pass it along as soon as we were off the phone.

@Ch91 you can do a complaint on the gov website , I’ve just done that so then it goes to someone other then my case manger as she’s quite rude and no help at all

EB82 · 08/08/2023 13:08

So nice to see people getting good news today. We moving closer 18/4! @Weenie1993 thats fab

Ch91 · 08/08/2023 13:10

@Jadepac22 could you send the link please x

Muva306 · 08/08/2023 13:23

Oh buzzing @Weenie1993 that is brilliant and another bit of good news to hear they are working as far ahead as 18/4 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Fundeasy22 · 08/08/2023 16:25

Congratulations to everyone who been awarded today @Weenie1993 you've made me nervous now our scan date is 18/4 and we've had nothing yet

Samiieyy · 08/08/2023 22:03

Just seen two people post on FB groups for scan dates 2/5 and 16/5 have been awarded.

Muva306 · 08/08/2023 22:42

No way @Samiieyy surely that cant be right, no method to their madness!! Did they say if they applied under special circumstances?

Bloody hell!! They hadn’t even reached 15 weeks 🫠🫠

Muva306 · 08/08/2023 23:29

Being the little mathematician I think I am 😂😂😂😂 the 2nd May one doesn’t add up for 13 weeks…….. do you think it’s someone trying to be funny (aka annoying) to make people who’s hasn’t been accepted yet panic

Someone else said they need exact figure and it was £1801 and I can't remember pence I was reading the comments. Don't know if that makes a difference as I'm not great on the working out side of things

EB82 · 09/08/2023 00:01

The 16th May one was posted 28th July. Can't be for real surely 🤔

Muva306 · 09/08/2023 00:12

No I take that all back, 14 weeks of back pay of hrc & lrm would be £1801.10 so bloody hell 2nd of May award dates (if not special circumstances) is crazy

Muva306 · 09/08/2023 00:14

But the 16th May one, the figures Don’t really work out - lrm makes it too low and hrm too high

Muva306 · 09/08/2023 00:16

nosey Parker me wants to make Facebook and join the group just to read the comments 🤪😂🤪😂

Lianney84 · 09/08/2023 01:57

@Ch91 checked my journal I receive my back pay on the 10th August. For any one asking about uc it's taken 10 days for them to sort out mine.

Soph194 · 09/08/2023 07:41

I agree with you that surely can’t be right? I’m the 4/5 and I haven’t 😭 I think it was still mid April on here?

I've been waiting 2 weeks 🤦🏽‍♀️ hopefully it's soon

Ch91 · 09/08/2023 09:56

@Lianney84 oh that's brilliant over the moon for you. The woman who I spoke to yesterday said 8 weeks 😬

I was told 2 weeks ago that the DM would get the case manager to pay my arrears ASAP, I'm still waiting 🤣

Muva306 · 09/08/2023 11:39

Is that a MR? Or is that what the decision letter looks like? I’ve never had any dealing with DLA. My eldest son is 12 and I’ve never had any issues with him

That sounds like an MR, it states "you asked us to look again" so I think whoever has posted it has asked them to do an MR and that's the decision on it.

JimnJoyce · 09/08/2023 12:00

@MonaOrchideous that looks like a MR not a new claim
