Scan date 12 April, with a DM, no sign of a decision yet.

Hi, I’m scan date 16th may, I phoned last week and it was with a dm I’ve just got off the phone now and it’s with a case manger could anyone tell me what the difference is please or are they the same? Sorry I’m new to all of this 😊 xx

I thought it was cm then too a dm. My sons went too a cm last Tuesday. I rang today and it’s with a dm. They said I should get a text message by end of the week with a decision x

I think a decision maker and case manager are the same thing.

Mine was with DM last Monday, said she had made a decision but it needed to be checked by someone else. Called today and final decision still hasn’t been made 🙄 bit concerned.

A decision maker and case manager aren’t the same thing. A case manager is a lower grade than a DM.

Just phoned for an update on my claim this morning and they told me it’s with the Dm and there’s a note on the system saying they are waiting a call back but they couldn’t tell me who from.

I just had a phone call asking me some questions about my son. Has anyone else had this? They said they will make a decision now x

Hi, @Chloe3x 15th of June, I’m going to ring tomorrow. I’ve seen people get a decision early on and some late and both have same scan date. Horrible waiting isn’t it

I was advised last week 11 and half weeks so hopefully not long for you now @Chloe3x X

@Lynseyb91 Hopefully not long then For you either then 🤞🏼 The waiting game is a nightmare! I’ve seen quite a few people get there between the 11 and 12 week mark x

@Chloe3x I always think no news is good news. Keep me updated! I’m ringing tomorrow as it’s 9 week mark so il see what they say I was told should be sorted by 31st x

My sons scan date is 10th June, rang them yesterday and they said still in the waiting queue and will probably be another 3 weeks until I hear anything x

I'm on 11 weeks and 5 days. It's really dragging now and I dare not call them again. All I can think is that surely they won't make me wait all this time to reject it?

@DuggeeMum Just give them a quick call tomorrow! Im thinking the same surly they wouldn’t wait this long to decline but I guess it’s just a waiting game 😑 x

Looks like everyone seems to be getting the same line I'm getting when I call up. There on so and so date so will be another 2 weeks. That 2 weeks passes, call again and they say another 3-4 weeks. The scan date is the 25th May. So hoping I hear back from them soon. Has anyone's taken longer than 12 weeks?

my sister applied in feb and hers took 8 weeks from scan date, my friends took 14 weeks from scan date. Both awarded HRC, LRM x

@Hayley1993 im on week 13 and still waiting. It went too a cm last Tuesday. Yesterday a dm. Then I got a phone call this morning asking some questions.. then was told there now gonna make a decision and I’ll hear back within 3-4 weeks 🤦‍♀️ I’m thinking it’s rejected. X

When I called them last week they said another 7-10 days. I'm hoping I hear back by Friday. Scan date was 26th May. Just want to get my boys sensory bedroom done before he starts school nursery in September.

Wow, that is crazy! I really think they should update their website. It’s still saying 8 weeks (40 working days) when it’s clearly not taking that long at all. I called Friday last week. And was told there working up to 12 weeks and if I don’t receive anything in a few weeks to call back. Hopefully you will receive a decision soon, and the outcome is a good one :) x

@Arne22 from what I’ve read on here 90% of people who have had a call have been awarded it. I think it’s to weight up the CR or MR needed. I rang last week and she told me they were working on middle of May plus, I was also told 11 and half weeks minimum. I got extra evidence after I sent the form in, I got a letter week 7 saying sorry claim is taking so long on week 9 now since scan date. I think mine might be longer due to the extra evidence I’ve sent in. I don’t know anyone personally who has rang but from what I’ve read on here it’s all good outcomes. Hopefully you hear soon X
