Dla waiting times march 2022

Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

I waited 12 weeks i had a letter about 3 weeks ago saying sorry then got awarded on Friday just gone.Mine was signed the 13th April if thats anything to go by.

Ty I appreciate that it's just a waiting game. My 14yr old was diagnosed with adhd in April after waiting 2 and a half yrs for an appointment due to covid etc so I applied for dla now his school r referring him to camhs for a test for autism as they believe he has that as well. Obviously I only put on thr form adhd but sent the consultants report so if he is diagnosed with autism as well I need to.let dla know. Is that another waiting game?

My son have waited 5 years for autism assesment and still ain't had 1 its a long waiting game. Might be diffrent were you live.If he gets diagnosed with autism you won't need to wait again you send of the report and they will adjust your claim your money won't charge in the mean time so there won't be a gap in payments.I hope your not waiting a really long time

I was like that I sent 2 reports off thats it and my son gotbut im sure you will be fine.Dint stop us worrying through

Well just got of the phone to DLA sorry but I’m fuming 😤 just been told they are still waiting on a letter of my daughters school so no decision made I’ve just kicked off as it’s 15 weeks and I was told on Friday they had everything, upset and disappointed is an understatement right now

1977 you have every right to be more than fuming I would make a complaint.I would also call DD school and tell them to move they ass!!Your daughter needs this now not in a couple weeks

Leanne I’m waiting on the school to phone me back and the woman that I spoke to this morning at DLA said they must have looked at it wrong , she did agree that 15 weeks is a long time I just don’t get why they just don’t phone the school and ask them what information they need , currently waiting on the hospital to call me , I’m really not well with covid so in bed

I am so sorry for u. It's not fair. Surely they should have let u know they were waiting for this information then u could have chased it up with the school. I want to ring dla but I darent as I'm worried about the answer. I honestly hope u and all the others get decisions soon.

It’s really not fair can’t believe you have waited 15 weeks for them to say this now I’d be livid!! Making me so nervous!! Hopefully it doesn’t take too long, I’m so confused why they would say they have everything they need, and why it takes them so long to get what they need 😡 x

That’s what I said this morning why was I told on Friday that you had all the information and the guy I spoke to said he was going to call the dm , I also said surely you should contact us aswell , especially when I’m on week 15 the school have emailed they are checking with the right department to find out what’s happening and will let me know later

Ffs 🤬🤬sorry lady’s just got of the phone again as the school have phoned and they’ve not received anything from the DLA just spoke to a lady to be told the DM is looking at it now and should hear any time , I then explained what I was told this morning and she was like I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ so I had abit of a go and said I want a phone call from DM either today or tomorrow and if they need information I want them to call the school I also explained again to say my daughter is hospital as we speak and I’ve been waiting 15 weeks and my daughter needs this help now

Shanrawlinson they are taking about 12/13 weeks at the moment but mine as been 15 weeks 😳😳

1977 I cant gwt iber how long you have waited i havnt known anyone to wiat as long as you.I don't think they know what they are doing sending big hugs from wales 🤗 and sending love to your daughter ❤

It’s like they are in no rush, they don’t understand what a difference these extra weeks of waiting makes. So much anxiety, hope you and your daughter are better soon xx

Evening all, I've had the text today to say my son has been awarded. I believe they pay on Wednesdays only is that correct? Does anyone know how long it may take for payment ?
The forms were scanned on 21st April ifthis of of any help to anyone xx
