Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

I'm sure it will be i felt sick to my stomach waiting cant imagine what your going though.You know where we are uf you wanna chat or vent! X

Hopefully next week some more will get news I had to go for a meeting yesterday at school to fill last bits in for my sons ehcp which was ment to be done before covid thankfully he has brilliant support in school and 1 to 1 already I'm now thinking I javnt put enough info on the dla forms my mind just goes blank when filling forms out

I inly sent in 2 sheets of paper and I thought I would have to appeal 🙃 dint lose hope

Well there was nothing in bank so will look on Monday and phone Monday , have you had payment already Leanne ?? I know no money Will go in over weekend

I sent in 4 sheets off evidence to do with learning and bowels but do you ever like come out off an appointment and think I should have said this and that we'll that's what I felt like after sending the forms I mean i have 10 kids at home so house is never quiet to sit and think properly but will see what the outcome is

No payment yet but was told they owe me £2087 😲 they said 3_5 days

Also I called tax credit yesterday and just looked online and they are making a payment of £1200 next Thursday 😳 they told me as long as you call within 1 minth of knowing decision they will back date.So when you hear call them straight away to tell them

My son had sports day yesterday and he has been in agony ever since he's really bad his joints are to the point he can hardly walk.He was up all last night in pain and screaming.I could do nothing other than give him meds and rub his joints 😓I felt like I was failing him.But knew there wasn't more I can do

Leanne your not failing him your doing your best I’m so happy for you that money will really help your son and you as a family, hopefully Monday I will know 🤞

I’ve been at the hospital all day got home then phoned the hospital to check my daughter was ok to be told her bloods have come back and her kidneys aren’t working properly 🥲🥲so they are pushing more fluids now

1977 thankyou so much its hard ti see them in pain.I really hope your daughter gets better soon you really deserve high rate care and morbility I really hope they have sorted it over weekend and tell you that you have it on Monday!

Leanne you get extra tax credits if awarded dla?

If you gwt gigh rate you get the severe disability award mine has gone by £100 per week! If you get low and middle you still get extra but not as much

If you get higher rate on either of them you get the severe disability award.Mine has gone up by 100 quid a week!if you get lower middle you still get extra money just not as much I didn't know until I called them.( sorry about spelling on the first 3 messages lol I type to fast and it always happens)

That's good leanne tht extra money will definitely help for these kids who need it the wait continues for me but I'm thinking end next week

Well fingers crossed that a few more of us hear tomorrow, well to top it off I tested positive today so really upset as I can’t see my daughter thank god my son was aloud to see her, good luck everyone

I'm not on universal credit but I think it would be tge same tbh

Hi I applied for dla and got a letter dated 28th April saying they had received my claim then last week I got an apology letter saying they will be looking at it soon but still waiting. It's just over 9 weeks now
