Hey all, I was starting to worry thinking I was kicked from the last thread, haha. How is everyone? Anyone have an update on where there at on Change Of Circumstances? Mine was scanned 12th Jan, I know there is a few with December dates still waiting, and every time I ring I’m getting told different things.

I'm December, I've now been waiting 19 weeks, been told to wait until 1st week of may to call if not heard anything, they are saying 20 weeks

Mum1122 · 26/04/2022 08:31

@RebeccaO2019 Hi did you receive payment today or text message to say you have been rewarded ?

Dudders88 · 26/04/2022 09:14

Our scan date is the 18th feb too I phoned yesterday 1st time phoning and spoke to a not so helpful man he said new claims are taking 11 weeks however it’s with a decision maker but they still have to work in case order phone back beginning of may if you haven't heard anything. I’m getting ready for a MR as I don’t think I sent enough evidence and so much has happened since I sent the forms good luck everyone I’ll update if/when I hear anything x

RebeccaO2019 · 26/04/2022 09:14

Litreally just a payment in my bank. No txt message or letter x

Congrats to everyone getting theirs now 🙌

Twinmummyanda6yearold · 26/04/2022 10:37

@doadeer I posted mine 11th April, signed for 12th April, received a letter confirmation to say they've received it 23rd April (dated 18th April) hope this helps? I'd ring to check if you're worried they've not received it🤞🏼

Sorry didn't mean to post 3 times lol 😂

Mum1122 · 26/04/2022 11:12

@doadee my form was received on the 28th feb I only received a letter yesterday dated the 17th April saying sorry about the wait I would call just to make sure they have it I called 1 week after posting to see if they have it.

Mummyto4girls86 · 26/04/2022 14:45

My claim was scanned 17th February, and they made the decision not to award any DLA, waiting for the letter to come explaining why before i do a MR. They didn't contact my daughters school or any of the consultants my Daughter is under for various things.

Kenziekyekalen · 26/04/2022 14:52

Did you have to ring to find out? I'm still waiting for the 15th feb I'm not sure if no news is good news. I've already rang 3 times for them to keep saying no decision. One person I spoke to said it was with the decision maker then when I rang a few days later she said she didn't know. All just say different things so just trying to wait it out.

Lisamarie90 · 26/04/2022 17:06

@Mummyto4girls86 I'm so sorry they didn't award it straight away. How frustrating for you. 😞 don't give up. Definitely do mandatory reconsideration x

Needanewadventure2021 · 26/04/2022 20:11

Sorry to hear this @Mummyto4girls86 you must be so upset. And now you have to wait for their letter for their reasons why. Please keep us updated x

Mum2Two91 · 26/04/2022 22:49

@Mummyto4girls86 Please don’t give up, my Son was refused at first and we won the MR and for higher than we expected. Not trying to give you false hope but you have claimed for your daughter for a reason and she deserves the very best. It’s all such a frustrating process, but you will get there. Have you ready any of the online sites that gives advice and help on how to do MR’s? Citizens Advice helped us out so much too.

Ltb17 · 27/04/2022 09:13

Anyone waiting on coc, I'm 16th December, just got off phone and been told they are working on claims up to and including 13th December

Mum1122 · 27/04/2022 09:36

Just off the phone to dwp my scan date was 28th feb a decision was made yesterday to award middle rate no mobility so happy has been a 9 mount battle as we where refused on our first application due to not having enough evidence hope everyone gets there decision soon good luck

mummyofcutetwo · 27/04/2022 09:43

I’ve just phoned the DLA Helpline. He said the eight weeks has gone up to nine at the moment. I’ll post again when I get a decision so you know how long it took.

They received my form on 25 February and say that they’re currently working on forms received on 21st, so the decision shouldn’t be too long now.

Momof2soonmomto3 · 27/04/2022 11:07

Any universal credit applicants here approved for DLA then applied for universal credit disabled child element? If so how long did it take to receive your back payment and first payment from them after requesting please as I have literally just heard from my home move and need as much money as I can to get it livable for my children

Ltb17 · 27/04/2022 11:08

@Momof2soonmomto3 for me they added the elements straight away but the backdate took 2 months, they really drag their heels with it, be persistent with them like everyday

Lisamarie90 · 27/04/2022 11:38

@Mum1122 Brilliant news!! What evidence did you send off this time around? I'm so worried I've not sent enough or worded form right 😞😞 I sent off a speech and language report, personal letter from my mum and a long family friend who was also my sons preschool manager, school filled in there part on the form too. The head teacher did it. Also letter from autism team. My anxiety is so high. My scan date is 22nd Feb. X

Kool4kats · 27/04/2022 11:45

My form was received on 25th of Feb. I got a text on 25th April to say we'd been approved and a letter was on its way. Not sure what level she's been assessed as but there is money pending in my bank account to go in on 28th April.
Hope those waiting get positive news soon
