New DLA wait times 2022

Iv made this new one as the thread I was following along with others has now been closed mine was scanned on the 18th Feb and still awaiting decision, I'm currently been waiting 40 mins on phone to DLA trying to get a update

Ours was stamped the 25th February and we got awarded Tuesday.

Does anyone know once you are awarded the dla and contact tax credits to change it, does it want you to enrol you in UC rather than continue with TC?

It is if you downloaded the forms and sent them back. If you called for the form and returned it within 6 weeks, it's backdated to the date of the phone call.

When you get your first payment is it back dated so a bigger lump sum? Roughly how much did you get? If that's not rude to ask

That will depend on how much they award you. So say you were awarded £50 a week (numbers just for example) and you form was dated 10 weeks ago you'd get £500

Is there a specific pay date every 4 weeks rolling or does it just depend what Tuesday comes after your award start date and then 4 weekly from then?

Does anyone know what week the DM are upto now? I'm only 6 weeks in so got a while yet and 2 weeks until I'm going to ring but just want to see where they're upto.

I sent mine on 12 April they said it was scanned in 19 April - they told me end of June to expect a result (called yesterday)

The end of June feels a long way away. Though time is going quickly this year, so maybe it'll feel like it passes quickly?

Mine was signed for on 12 April, and the letter confirmed that date. I'm trying to not ring, however. It won't make it faster or change the result, so I need to not think about it (easier said than done)!

I have rung 3 times to be told different things. Mine was scanned 18th march. They haven't got to it yet x

That's another reason not to ring: inconsistency in info being provided.

@NoWordForFluffy yep. Sometimes they tell me 8 weeks (which it is) other times they tell me 11 I don't think they have a clue tbh x

I'm into week 9 now (March 11th), still no news yet. I'm thinking it will be another week or two. Trying not to think about it though its not working.

Not sure the date dm are on now. I'm guessing still up to the 4th but not sure?

I was told yesterday they were working up to the 7th March for new claims.

8 weeks Monday and just received the sorry it's taking so long letter.. few more weeks to wait if they are taking 10 weeks or more.

Hi I’ve recently just received a payment to my bank account Wednesday For dla I’m not sure what rate I’ve been given I’m assuming middle from the amount I sent my forms end of February I’m just waiting on the letter to come back, does anyone have an idea how long it take to receive the letter stating what rate you’ve received.

Change of circumstances is upto claims due 5th January been told I’m looking at about 2 weeks and mine is 17th January

I spoke to them this morning and was advised the wait is 9 to 9 and a half weeks at the moment

Anyone heard about regarding new claims that end on the 7th of march as I’m the 4th of march and haven’t heard anything yet !! X

@Kerrik94 mine was scanned the 3rd march and I just got a text to say its been awards so on hold now to try and find out what rate

I'm so nervous. Mine was recieved on the 6th of April so still got long time to wait. It's awful and some of you have been waiting for months 😞
