I'm phoning daily. Forms received 17th February. Man I spoke to today said it's still with decision maker but hasn't been looked at yet. Can't give a time scale as depends on the individual decision maker.
I'm told something different every time I phone up.
Will call again tomorrow in the hope that it may have been looked at.
Good luck to everyone still waiting for decisions x

LWWL2022 · 04/05/2022 16:20

@Momof4boyos I had the same today, the person I did speak to said that its not because they have asked for additional information, so I have no idea why we don't have a decision yet... 🤞That you get your decision.

I have just called scanned on 24th Feb it is with a decision maker now. How long did people wait for a decision after claim went to DM? Thanks x

Hiya,

I rang this afternoon and spoke to a very helpful lady!!

My little boy has been granted MRC. He has just turned 2. Scan date 24th Feb. So would have been 10 weeks tomorrow.

Just updated my UC so lets see what happens that end now, but totally relieved to finally have an outcome!

Hope this helps xx

Bluemum87 · 04/05/2022 17:44

Great news you must be happy now long wait over @Ljjb

3babies22 · 04/05/2022 19:00

@Ljjb thats fab news!! Glad your wait is over...did you get a text message? Il give another call tomorrow hopefully get ours too being same date xx

Ljjb · 04/05/2022 19:31

Hiya, I didn't get a text. Just a very helpful lady on the phone. Glad i rang now, it was late on when i rang as i had phone issues earlier and nearly left it until tomorrow.

Honestly, this process is so stressful!!

Ilovetea13 · 04/05/2022 19:57

Hi everyone thought I'd jump on the thread.
My was signed for on the 31st of March so looks like I'm quite a long way away from getting a decision!
2 questions.. has everybody received backpay from the date they rang for forms?
Also has anybody schools been contacted that they are aware of?
Wondering how it all works in regards to making a decision, I have support from childs school anyway and a teacher did my statement from somebody who knows the child part.

Leaf1216 · 05/05/2022 09:21

@Ilovetea13 from what I've read it's back dated to when dla have the form back. So I think for you it would be 8 weeks from 31st March.

And I don't think they ask for more information by routine. I'm not too sure though.

AReallyUsefulEngine · 05/05/2022 09:33

If you call for the form and get it back within 6 weeks it is backdated to when you called. If you complete the downloaded form it is only from when DWP receive the form.

Sometimes schools and other professionals involved are contacted, but don’t rely on that because they aren’t always especially at the minute with the backlog.

Leaf1216 · 05/05/2022 09:34

Just an update, our application was scanned March 11th so phoned just to check in as 8 weeks today.

Nice gentleman told me that ours is not with a decision maker yet, the wait has been extended to 9-10weeks at the moment. Looking at another week or two for ours.

3babies22 · 05/05/2022 09:52

Called this morning, he advised me that claims up to the 1st march are to be completed this week so that we should have a decision within a day or so x

mummyto3littlebeautys · 05/05/2022 11:25

Hi to all those waiting on a coc dated 13th dec are now with a dm as of yesterday so hopefully not to much longer to wait just rang them and the lady said mine went to dm yesterday! X

Mummy2boys1520 · 05/05/2022 13:19

@mummyto3littlebeautys I'm the day after you I rang today as I was told should be this week I hear and I was told it won't be till middle of June as it on a 20 week wait 🙄 I swear sometime they don't know half the time so I'm hoping that means I'll hear soon

rghltifndn · 05/05/2022 14:30

I’ve just received the ‘sorry we haven’t processed your claim’ letter. (or however it is worded, I am severely sleep deprived right now!) I’m just wondering how long after that did people get a decision.

mummyto3littlebeautys · 05/05/2022 15:36

@ Mummy2boys1520 isn’t yours with the dm yet then they tell you all sorts don’t they x

Mummy2boys1520 · 05/05/2022 15:38

@mummyto3littlebeautys she was quite rude and said it wasn't with the dm and that it's taking 20 weeks and will be middle of June and not to call until I receive notification or have a change of circumstances

Ltb17 · 05/05/2022 15:51

Mummy2boys1520 · 05/05/2022 15:38

@mummyto3littlebeautys she was quite rude and said it wasn't with the dm and that it's taking 20 weeks and will be middle of June and not to call until I receive notification or have a change of circumstances

So did you say it has been 20 weeks, if you're 13th December it's been that hasn't it?

mummyto3littlebeautys · 05/05/2022 15:52

@Mummy2boys1520 well I rang one day last week and the lady was not very nice she said it wouldn’t be till another 4-6 weeks as they were still working on claims from sep last year lol then I rang on tue and the lady said it will be sometime this week it goes to dm so rang today to be told it got sent to dm yesterday! I’m gonna leave it now till Monday if I hear anything before hand I will let u know! You do get some very rude ones but then you get really nice ones as well I will keep you posted x

Mummy2boys1520 · 05/05/2022 15:54

@mummyto3littlebeautys it 20 weeks this week, and that's what I said and she didn't like that. Yeah that's what I was gonna do, I'm gonna call Monday probably. I'm hoping to hear soon

Ltb17 · 05/05/2022 16:22

@Mummy2boys1520 I'm 16th December, I was told first week of may but I haven't bothered calling because I can't be bothered getting told different things all the time, think I'll give it 2 weeks and see what happens. I've only called once since I put it in but seeing what people say on here I just can't be bothered lol it seems like everyone is told something different

Mummy2boys1520 · 05/05/2022 16:38

@Ltb17 honestly every time I call I get something different. It was the same when I was actually waiting for dla to be awarded I didn't think it would be this long for a change of circumstances especially when if your a new claim it's taking a shorter amount of time.

Ilovetea13 · 05/05/2022 16:59

Thanks for the answers! Hope u all receive some news soon, some of you have waited so long!
I'm only at 5 weeks and I'm stressed I'll be hysterical by week 10 😂

Bluemum87 · 05/05/2022 17:38

I’m on week 9 and still waiting they said they working on claims from 1st week of march mine was scanned 4th march they did say mines is in a holding que not sure what that means so don’t know if I will get any update as every time I ring it’s a different story 😩

Ltb17 · 05/05/2022 17:39

I've got 2 at the moment, change of circumstances date 16th December and a new claim 23rd march starting to think I'll hear from new claim before the change haha

Needanewadventure2021 · 05/05/2022 17:49
