DLA waiting times 2022

Hi All,

I have ASD 2 years old boy and i sent DLA form for him in 7 dec 2021. But I haven’t received any news yet. How long is usually you get awarded?

The thing is i want to put my son in 2 years old nursery but i’m not eligible for 2 years old funding. I found the nursery that i like and my son can start there after easter but they want funding from the government.

There are another way to get funded by government is via DLA. I need to get the DLA first then i can apply for funding 2 years old in nursery. Do you know how is the process for apply funding 2 years old through DLA route??

Change of circumstances are taking forever , 22nd October and still heard nothing I'm defo ringing tomorrow

My form was received on the 15th of dec, anyone else heard anything for this date?

Mines 13th Dec and as of Friday when i phoned it was with a decision maker!so yours can't be far behind!

We are 29th Oct I rang Wednesday they said should be competed within 2 weeks, let me know what they say tomorrow, good luck

I received my daughters annual statement and she was originally awarded until 2023 I was dreading renewal after waiting for change of circumstances to over 17 weeks and still waiting 🙈 but she’s now been awarded until 2028 has anyone else had their Child’s extended

Did you receive a letter @Amyxkx about the extension? I will let you know when I ring , I can see them saying wait another few days or something 🙈😂

I had a text Saturday saying son qualifies and to wait for a letter in post. We were stamped 10th December

Was awarded MRC, I called today the decision was made last Thursday, exactly 11 weeks.

I received her annual statement which she gets each year and noticed it said awarded until 2028. Xx

My form was received on 10th December so its been 11weeks and 3 days now. Still not heard back anything

Mine was 9th, you should give them a call.

I was told last week mine is down to be done over the weekend by case manager and to call back today for the decision I called back today and they said it's not been done and they said they don't think it will be done till end of the week maybe beginning of next

I called them today and been told that I should get decision within this week.. But they told me the same last week...

I'm the same sitting on 12 weeks was told it would be done last week phoned this week and still saying sitting with decision maker will be end of this week , getting infuriating now

It’s so frustrating! Mine is jan 17th so got a long wait ahead! When I applied in 2019 and 2021 both turned around within 4 weeks! Pleased for everyone who has had good news.

This! I feel everyone is getting told different things depending who they spoke to. I'm only 10wks today so probably another 2wks for me

Mine was 22nd Oct for a change in circumstances and rang again today they working on 21st October, the exact same thing they told me last Monday 🙈🙄🤣

Omg I didnt realise it could be with a decision maker for so long!I ra g Friday amd mine had finally been handed to one I was hoping we may hear this week.....May be getting ahead of myself 🤣

I received a phone call from the decision maker yesterday asking questions as its been a while since I put my forms in she just wanted to see what was going on since then etc and told me she would make her decision today and to expect a letter in the post within the next couple of weeks my form was received 13th Dec 😀
