Waiting times for DLA for new claim 2021

Hi the DLA received my claim on the 1st April 21. Does anyone know the current waiting times. Thanks

Any body no when the back dated gets paid is it 3-5 days I forgot to ask

The payment normally takes a few days I got awarded Saturday money was in Wednesday but I'd check tomorrow as it might go through as a faster payment with dla being paid in a Wednesday x

Sorry to jump on this post, just wondering if anybody has heard back from the first week of July yet, congratulations to all who have received good news this morning! This is my first time putting a claim in and I’m not expecting it to be awarded but this wait is torture ahah!

Were still waiting too its our first time of our boy I got told should hear this week mine the 6th of july

Oh thank goodness I’m not alone, fingers crossed we get some good news this week too, good luck to you 🤞🏼

Mine got scanned 28th June rang this morning still hasn't had a decision 🤦‍♀️ xx

Hope it's good news for you too, if I've not heard tomorrow I'm phoning them again.

Hi really sorry to jump on this post but I sent some forms to dla last Monday recorded delivery, I've tracked then and still not saying they've even been delivered I'm worried they've been lost, has this happened to anyone? Thanks

@Boof23 I would ring up Royal Mail with it having documents init

@Lhmym I have rang royal mail they said 10 working days then its considered lost 😢 I rang DLA on the off chance they nay have recieved it but they havent yet, I really hope it's not lost 🙏🙏🙏 x

@Boof23 I hope thay can sort it it’s possible dla as recived it but from what I been told in past it goes to loads diffrent departments and then goes on system I had loads issues with royal mails that’s why in end I got dla fax number from them

Does anyone know if DLA is paid in advance or arrears? My daughter got one weeks payment today after getting her last full (four week) payment last Tuesday two days before the claim ran out. I'm wondering if the unexpected one weeks payment made today might be a bit extra that was due at the end of the award or if they've finally sorted the renewal out and somehow paid one weeks worth of money today 🙄 they close at four here in NI and im in work all day tomorrow so can't call

They received my daughters new claim on 8th of July, I’m still waiting... haven’t received any texts or letters of them, I had to call to make sure they had even got it... almost 7 weeks!

@PeppaPigPocoyo people who’s were scanned on 28th have only just been done so I reckon yours will be another week Atleast

Hi all
I made a new claim for DLA 17th June. Forms received 2nd July.
Still waiting to hear back a decision. Called today told its taking up to ten weeks.
Only 3 weeks ago people were hearing back decision at 7 weeks.
So annoying!!

It took 3 weeks after posting form I received a letter saying it was scanned on 2 weeks prior the letter. I had called during that 2 week period to checked they had received it and was told they had nothing yet. So not quite sure what’s happening

Any body no when back pay goes in I got my son desision yesterday

@Lhmym normally takes 3/5 working days, so should be Friday unless there's a delay due to Bank Holiday x

@Lhmym when I rang and they told me the decision the women I spoke to said it will most likely be Friday
