Waiting times for DLA for new claim 2021

Hi the DLA received my claim on the 1st April 21. Does anyone know the current waiting times. Thanks

So my 8 weeks was up today called yesterday not decision, called this morning been awarded hrc lrm, I also received letter today saying sorry decision hasn't been made x

25th June still had no text, been awarded for 2 years don't no if that's good xx

Hi guys new to this thread.. I made new claim on was registered on 28thjune.. called this morning it is with the decision maker. Mine will 8weeks on Monday.. fingers crossed hear some news soon

@Mumof2girlys just means you need to be reviewed in two year I think that happens with most people normal 2/3 years. That was a few days before mine so hopefully mine will be done soon

I've just been on the phone to them lovely lady I spoke to my sons is finally with a case work and she said should be cleared over the next couple of days most likely the weekend and I'll receive a text once a decision has been made so fingers crossed I'll here by Monday. Has anyone else received a text does it tell you what your son/daughter is entitled to if they are awarded it

@Mummy2boys1520 it doesn’t tell you what the rate is you will usually receive payment before that letter so will be able to work it out from payment I would imagine

@Mummyto2boys22 they received my forms and was scanned on to the system 28th June. Okay then yeah should be able to work it out how many days after the text do you receive the payment

@Mummy2boys1520 they will tell you whether you qualify in the text no one has mentioned on here about not qualifying I’m a FTC so I’m only following the advice of the parents in this thread

@Mummy2boys1520 sorry I don’t answer your question fully- another parent on here got a text in a Saturday to say they qualified and then received payment on the Wednesday

@Lhmym I know it’s frustrating, wasn’t yours the 29th I’m sure it will be this weekend- like I said earlier think they say it’s not been looked at/with a decision maker right up until it’s awarded just a generic response

@Mummyto2boys22 ye the guy I spoke with said call on the 24th and we will get some one to do a decision that day I thought how ye 29th mine was

I’m thinking I need to call up cos everyone that has registered same day as me and called today seem to have got a text lol but I haven’t received anything as yet

@Mummyto2boys22 I called today and the lady I spoke to said it's with a decision maker and I will here in the next couple of days. I called yesterday and it wasn't with the decision maker so I'm hoping we will here very soon as I'm like you impatient and with some people hearing and some not it makes me worry
