Waiting times for DLA for new claim 2021

Hi the DLA received my claim on the 1st April 21. Does anyone know the current waiting times. Thanks

@Mummyto2boys22 I never received any letters I got a text Saturday saying my son qualifies the money went in yesterday then got a letter today saying my claim will be dealt with soon haha
Think the letter was Swamy before the claim was approved think they may be automated they received my forms on 25th June and all sorted x

@Mummy2boys1520 there the same words I had today from them haha its like nearly Friday how thy exspect a decision by Monday is mind blowing there again thy said the dms are working week end

@Lhmym I honestly can't see it being done by then. I'm just hoping my boy qualifies for it as we are on a waiting list for autism assessment he starts a new special school in September. I'll just call Monday like they said if I don't hear anything

@Alk19 It shouldn’t be too long then if yours were received 25th June I think they just say it’s not been looked at or it’s with a decision maker just as a generic response to fob us off

My 8 weeks is up today (Fri) will call in the morning and update you all can't see it being done x

@mumof2girlys I hope thay have it done for you today think I will have to call next week mines with the decision maker team but not been allocated 😞

I was trying to get a fax number for them for extra info but think I will wait untill I have to do mr then send it with that

Ive received a letter this morning saying that they are sorry they havent delt with my claim yet, and I won't loose no money. Anyone had the same? Scanned 28th June x

@Daisydoo5 i haven't received any letters since them just confirm they received it. But was scanned same day as yours

Hopefully yours is in the post 🤞 ive read on the Facebook page dla for children aload of people who's forms was scanned the 28th have received the same letter today x

Yes mine was received 28th. I rang yesterday and was told I should receive a decision the end of the week because its with the decision maker x

@Daisydoo5 which office did yours go to? If you don’t mind me asking did they mean this week? Hoping we get a text today or tomorrow like other parents have in this thread- fingers crossed for you

I not had letter yet all I have had is a text on 7th of July to say received on 29th day after yours and then a letter about 2 week later saying we revived your form on 29th of June please allow 8 weeks if you have not herd by 8 weeks please call us and load of blah blah about if we need more info or if we need your child to see a doc or send some one from dwp to see your child

Mine got sent to Wolverhampton im from Walsall, and ye she said this week. But I asked the lady if I would get a text and she told me no they only send texts when they have received it or need more info which isn't true because aload of people got texts xx

@Daisydoo5 thay said to me there now sending text as post is delayed but there again it’s always mixed messages

Has end anybody heard anything from when they got your forms from first week of july, so stressful waiting and not knowing.

@Mumof1girland1boy it looks like they’re only up to June by what others have posted I’m assuming you will hear something next week
