Dd3's stress levels are going through the roof and I know why but cant do anything to help

We cut our holiday short this week because she was going downhill fast and didnt want to stay. I had planned to be away until Friday so she was occupied and not thinking about it.

She has melted down this morning over not being able to have a coloured door key, apparently our lock is too old And over not wanting me to have a cushion on the sofa!!

We need to make a new visual timetable for the mornings but not sure its a good idea, what do you all think?

I think you could be right polter we talked a little bit over the holidays and this morning I said we all need to have a proper sit down and talk about whether the setting is the right place for her!

I have asked her to think about whether she would miss the good things and whether there are more good things than bad and whether she can cope with the bad because the good is so good!

I am asking a lot really from a child who cant decide if she would like noodles or pizza for tea I really need help from someone I might ask the EP if she will help and do it away from school so she doesnt feel under pressure to say "the right thing"!

Yes, I agree about them needing to witness the anxiety!

I told Dd3 today that she needs to show adults at school that she is unhappy or stressed because they dont understand when I tell them!!

We know most of her triggers luckily, we just seem to have a problem communicating them to school!

I do wonder if I speak alien sometimes
