Thanks to Thumbwitch for inspiring the title of this new thread.

I will do my very best to minimise my worrying about the future as none of us know what it holds. For now, it's all about celebrating Beatrice's life today, every day.

As always, please feel free to follow us on our journey, and thank you in advance for the wonderful advice I am bound to receive from fellow parents, of SN children or otherwise.

I know this won't come out right but I will try anyway.

All of us have children that aren't how we expected them to be or can't do things that the kid next door can do but I am not sure there is anyone else on here has a baby who has hundreds of strangers rooting for her and her family and who think about her every day.

(Apologies if I have offended anyone).

Sending love and hugs. I almost never pray but I pray for your daughter and your family. Your strength and love come shining out of your posts. You have three very blessed little girls.

Cup - it's my pleasure. Beatrice has changed me. She was born around the time of our church weekend away last year. We talked a lot about the need to pray more. Then I came back and you needed us and our prayers. The two things came together. Before Bea - would I start a prayer thead like that? Would I lift up my hands in prayer? I don't think so. I would pray but would I feel it like this? Beatrice has changed me. Her needs have been a huge gift to me. In praying for Beatrice I feel the strength of my faith. You and Bea have given me far more than I could ever give you.

Praying for you all here too. I'm so looking forward to meeting you hopefully in July. You are allowed to main as much as you like, it doesn't make you a bad person, it makes you normal. It's so not fair what's happening to your family and beautiful Bea, your allowed to be angry with the situation and those that make it do much more difficult than it ever should be

Morning everyone. Beatrice is still congested, meaning her heart rate is up, but we've just put her oxygen back down to its usual level and the consultant thinks she can go home tomorrow. Enjoy the sunshine everyone

Hurrah for another victory! So glad that she's improved again, cup. Hope you have a lovely sunny day tomorrow for her going home (and FX everything continues to improve so she can!)
