It is friday isn't it???

Ive been away . Had my tooth out Tues and then buggered off to minehead Butlins. Got back today.

Huge rota of people to support dh for the 3 days worked really well and ds was a star.

I did my first bit of cross stitch since the spring, and have nearly finished a book, even got my college homework done,

Ds really pleased to see me, (said hello 6 times and 'I miss you' 4 times)

How have all your weeks been?

If there is one thing I cant stand it is bad language and the word IRONING is the worst word ever next to sewing............... I am definately heading for nightmares of DH drawers and the kids sock chasing after me!

We have not had a single firework go off tonite which is odd. There are a few displays around tomorrow though so I dont think the dog will have much fun. Some people around from us put a little display on for the kids and I took DS to that last year. No bangs just sparklers and pretty ones as babies go too. I got to admit I am a big kid at heart for fireworks!

Dev I did post on your other thread but I am so glad it all went smoothly for you and your DW and that you have another beautiful boy. Also that you have your working dx now for your other lovely son. x

Triggles, the racecourse fireworks is my idea of hell on earth. Loads of people, loads of fairground rides, and the display never starts on time. AVOID!

creator Didn't realise that it took such a long time for these. we were referred by our HV who was very concerned when she saw him and his paed. I don't really know how the system works yet. The initial appointment is for assessment so maybe there is another waiting list after that. I only got the letter today so haven't had the chance to find out further.

Coff thanks again, I have yet to work out what to post out where and when so will try not to repeat the same conversations on three different threads next time. well, you live and learn.

Ellen tbh, I am not expecting a lot from them, but don't want to discount them either. we had started using a private salt in July, but she had more experience in dealing with delayed children rather than autistic children iykwim, so we are still looking for a decent SALT to work alongside ABA for ds1.

Morning all, did my usual start the thread then slope off .

Dev congrats on new arrival. (and Hi) Lollipop good news on new bloke too, . Moose hope tests go well, create extreme knitting, now there's an idea...... .

As for Christmas films it's got to be Miracle on 34th St, (have to say I prefer the remake tho, ).

We somehow lost our copy of the Jonny Depp Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Argh!! , now got replacement (phew) so we will be watching what ds refers to as the chewing chewing film (after the oompa loompas song).

I have just popped back and am laughing at you lot talking about ironing. I subsidise my crap income by doing ironing for other people. LOL. Bonkers I know.

Its not that I paticularly enjoy it but its something I can do at home in my afternoons as I only work mornings.

We are going to watch everyone elses fireworks tonight, we are having a mini fire [more like a camp fire] and sparklers and marshmallows in the garden. There are always loads of fireworks in neighbours gardens so we will get a free display.

Oh and Dd3 can leg it back indoors if it all gets too much.

sorry to say hello to everyone and then not show my face for 2 weeks. Hope you are all doing well. Still having a hard time with depression and discovered offering to help with toddler group was a realllllllly bad idea so I quit. Feel awful but tough I need my space and time too.
