That's lovely news. Congratulations! When is baby Starlight due?

StarlightMcKenzie · 26/09/2011 20:40

I'm terrified, but it is what we decided.

I have to tell you lot because you are my beshtest friends, and DH is too friggin BLIND to see the red line so he's being a bit rubbish, wanting to wait a few days and test with a digital.

But I could see the line. In actual fact, I did a test this morning and saw a line but knew DH would definately not see that, so tested again this evening and it was stronger, but he still couldn't blardy see it. Hmm

StarlightMcKenzie · 26/09/2011 20:56

Thanks everyone, and congratulations Piglet

It's a bit scary, now that having a child with a disability isn't something that happens to other people any more, and regardless still having ds and all the issues that that brings us.

But then I think that there will be more people in the world to look out for him, and it will be lovely for dd to have a younger sibling.

I remember the discussion a while back (serial name-changer) about a DC3 and that phrase, more people in the world to look out for the sibling resonates so much with me.

I will be waiting until after the drinking Christmas season myself but huge congratulations Smile
