Haven't been on for a while, but wanted to say congratulations star!!

The reason I haven't been on much is because I now have a 17wk DS3 and it has been the best thing. Hard work yes, but its lovely to see the other two so enamoured with their baby brother. We've had a few problems with DS1 (who has ASD) picking him up and things, but that is to be expected. They both love helping out with him.

One thing I was going to say is that we have enrolled DS3 in a study called BASIS which looks at siblings of those with autism in an attempt to see if they can pick up signs in babies, and also do early(ier) intervention. I know its a long way off but thought I would mention it in case you were interested. You can self-refer, which I was going to do, but then DS1's paed phoned up to ask me if I wanted to be involved so it saved me a job.

AlfalfaMum · 04/10/2011 21:15

Congratulations, wonderful news :)

StarlightMcKenzie · 05/10/2011 07:53

Hey working Smile, only just seen this. Congratulations, and how funny!

frizzcat This will be number 3. Feel a little bit terrified but think it will do us all good. DS has had therapy like we could never replicate in DD, and I think a new little person would be therapy for us all.

Thanks, sorry for hijack Star but in the circumstances I couldn't help myself! Not my first, have a 22 month old.

StarlightMcKenzie · 05/10/2011 20:37

I'm not surprised. Great news! Grin

Now I can spread my time across my two favourite MN subjects, SN and Childbirth - lol

(I was going to suggest you would be able to too, but realised you probably have a lot more interests than me Wink)

When I said 'I'm not surprised', I meant about you hijacking, not that I knew you were pregnant, even if we WERE having sex at the same time......
