thankfully not ellen, we have far too many toys in our sitting room to manage that atm Dd1 has her 21st coming up soon and I'm also due a birthday with an 0 on the end a few weeks before, I told her we could have a joint do with her dad doing the music, now that was a kodak moment!

I once put Rudyard Kiplings Just So Stories on my mp3 player to play for the boys on our holiday journey. Unfortunately, then every time I put it on shuffle, every other song was punctuated with "how the leopard got his spots" or "why the camel has two humps" etc. Most annoying.

Dh does worse than dad dancing, rather embarrassingly, he still likes to get battered in the mosh pit. So sad to see him and all his mates on the wrong side of 40 still thinking they can keep up with the young-uns. He usually can't walk for days afterwards and the bruises are spectactular.

I should really go to bed, but dh is still drawing my sister's birthday card, so I don't feel like I can.

He's just shown it to me and its a hideous zombie, complete with entrails - yuk! She's going to love it.

I use itunes but everyone else in the family uses windows media but I'd downloaded the offending item for dd2 on my itunes, only my itunes was set to automatically download everything onto my ipod, silverfrog kindly pointed out how to pick what I put on there, it wasn't complicated thankfully, just not obvious!

ellen, I'm going to be 40, I had dd1 pretty young. We went to a friends 40th lunch at a very posh london restaurant at the weekend, it was amazing, wondeful food and a complete surprise for her, was lovely to see her face. It was our first childless day out since I don't know when, twas fab, although all the lovely wine helped

moose, she's asked for some of her baby photos for her party she's having with her friend as she turned down my kind offer I will be choosing carefully which ones I hand over, there's that one of her having a bath in my mums sink, the explosive poo one, the one in that outfit that was only ever worn once as it was a gift . . .
