Wish I lived near there! Have a great evening.

Rubbish week, going to have to go to tribunal after being given false hope by LEA.

Thecarrotcake sounds like a really rubbish week. Hope you have wine, cake, chocolate or all three for tonight.

As Dd3 said on Tuesday its been a long weekSmile

We have had a mixed week, but its finished ok.

Back to CAMHS on Mon, Dd3 ok about it.

Looking forward to doing something nice over the weekend, don't know what yet.

Starting, your soft play looks great, have fun. Wish we could come but you're about 2.5 hours from us.

StartingAfresh · 14/01/2011 16:59

It's outrageously expensive at £8.45 per child and £2.50 per adult usually.

But the ASD session is £5 per child and one adult per child goes free.

So, 2 children and 2 adults is £10.

I understand that they are doing extra things like turning off any flashy lights, not playing music and generally calming the place down a bit for the montly ASD sessions.

StartingAfresh · 14/01/2011 16:59

It's opening night tonight so I'll let you know how it goes.

auntevil · 14/01/2011 17:03

Does look good - have a good night Starting and starlets.
Good week. Paediatrician agreed to ENT referral for DS3 - progress at last. Parent evenings were good - even if DS1's teacher laughed when she agreed that she got the 'good' DS and i had the 'off the wall' one. At least she acknowledges that this happens.
Met up with Bigcar for coffee - she's lovely btw. I chatted so much that i was late to pick up my DS from pre-school (phone clock not accurate as dcs had played with it) Blush

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 14/01/2011 17:03

Im tempted to go but DH is out tonight and i dont think i could manage both girls on my own Blush

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 14/01/2011 17:03

do they do food?

StartingAfresh · 14/01/2011 17:06

Yes they do food. A bit pricey. A child's meal is £4.50 and chips alone are £1.60.

Adults food starts from £4.90.

LOL, - I'm saying pricey but maybe it isn't. Maybe you are all going Hmm.

It's your call Lisad but I find at ASD thingies you don't always have to watch the kiddies quite some much because other parents have a much higher tolerance of odd/undesirable behaviour.

StartingAfresh · 14/01/2011 17:08

And if I can identify you for sure we can share the care of 4 children between 3 of us!? (DH is going)

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 14/01/2011 17:09

we are going!!! just called DH to ask what his plans are tonight and he has changed them :) woo hoo shoudl be fun.
Now how will I know who you are SAF??
Going to give girls tea before we go, cant risk spending out and them not eating it Confused

StartingAfresh · 14/01/2011 17:09

Oh and forgot to say the most important bit..............

IT HAS A LICENCED BAR!!!!!!!!!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 14/01/2011 17:11

A mixed week, had Ok neuro appt, but DH has been away and Ed Psych just called me at 4.30 "so I wouldn't worry over the weekend"..I was feeling quite relaxed and now am worrying about school matters I can't do anything about until Monday!

StartingAfresh · 14/01/2011 17:11

Woo hoo! Be lovely to meet you.

I'll be wearing odd socks, as will my children. We always do as life is far to short to pair socks I feel!!!! Grin

Anyone else coming?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 14/01/2011 17:11

ok if I leave now and fly down I can come to the soft play thing!

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 14/01/2011 17:13

DD2 has pink trousers with brown spots and red and whitestripe top. Im in boring jeans and cardi.
whats your RL name LOL

intothewest · 14/01/2011 17:15

would love to,but we are too far away- wish there was something similar around here- would be great to get ds out as he's come back from school like a coiled spring ( and has 'sprang' already 3 times !) so I guess it's another Friday in with the wine (eventually)

signandsmile · 14/01/2011 17:18

The soft play sounds great,(one of the local one here has a SN session organised by local SN school, but open to MS kids and sibs too. but its usually 6 -7 which is too late for ds who is only 4, and gets so knackered... they had an earlier one during the hols and it was brill..)

week has been good, ds has calmed down about the return to pre-school, didn't need to be peeled off me today, yay!

still getting poos in the toilet.

and I've built 3 ikea bookcases, (so dh's crap collections can come out of boxes and off the floor!)

starfish71 · 14/01/2011 17:18

Now I am even more jealous - a licensed bar!

Have got a bottle chilling ready for later though...
