Evening all - thank God its friday because this week has been a tough one, and it had dragged!!!

Off out with some friends tomorrow for a drink and a curry, though I have to be up early on Sunday for DS1's scout parade which is at 9am, so no lie in for me.

Hello, can I join in? Am fed right up!!! DS2 in trouble at school again, also not really very well, can feel a crisis brewing.

Still, it's Friday and only a couple of hours till wine o'clock.

Not a fab week here either...we all had the dreaded bug thats going round, DD Monday..up all night and tuesday, DS Wednesday, Me Thursday and DH today! Nice! :)

Just detol/bleached the house! ...not sure if im up to wine?..I must be ill!

sorry for those who have had not great weeks, ours has been okish. Apart from a stoney silence from the school (handed in a letter of complaint on Monday and not so much as a whisper of acknowledgement back from them).

ghoulsforgodot - it is always wine o'clock somewhere in the world - just change your timezone on your laptop/phone and crack the wine open

Mixed week here. Teacher wanted a meeting about ds's behaviour. Made dh ring her and they talked on phone about it so all quiet at the moment

computer on last legs.so getting annoyed having to post from phone..

rubbish week. difficult meeting with school where I tell them ds isn't progressing. Minutes today say parents are delighted with school and ds has made fantastic progress.

ds' behaviour going downhill too so worried about how to deal with that.

We've had an ok week. DS2 is not liking the wind though and has had me up for the past two nights despite having double melatonin. Was tragic walking home from school, took u over an hour when it usually only takes 20 minutes because of his stopping and wailing and refusing to walk. Should have just got a taxi.

Stil, he is sleeping out tomorrow night! It's my 30th tomorrow and I've farmed the kids off. My lovely dad is having him over, it's the only place he will sleep other than home. Took us over a year though to get him there.

Sorry guys, i'm not joining in tonight.....too down and depressed so don't want to spoil the fun plus it means more wine and chocolate for everyone as i would onlu comfort eat and take it all. Take care x

Evening. Not had a bad week, got my shoot done, which is good. But a wisdom tooth is threatening to make an appearance so has been hurting for the past 2 days. This is making me a bit grumpy.

On the plus side, it's Hockeyday soon! (My new name for Sundays as I seem to always spend them at the rink) and I'm very close to booking a hotel for me and H to see Faithless at the MEN in December. The number of hotels that say they have w/chair accessible rooms but then no way of specifying you want one online is amazing!

Aaaaand, might be going to the ice hockey playoff weekend in April if I can find a cheap hotel for 3 nights in Coventry.

We survived the week, no probs at school, usual homework problem though.

We all survived the Dentist, Dd3 was very scared and insisted on wearing her wooly hat but new lady dentist was good with her and she got a sticker..

Going to do a Brownie badge with Dd3 tomorrow and she is going to Rememberance Parade on Sunday, ours doesn't start till 9.45 though.

Am going to Asda in a minute because we have run out of Dd3's squash and she has gone all day at school without a drink. How bad do I feel.

Bad week.

Had to keep DS off for one day as he was clearly getting too tired.

Had to name change cos of weirdos on this board so feel a bit violated and a bit like I've lost my MN identity!!

Horrible meeting with stupid Head today who, despite applying for a statement (under duress from experts) still can't see why DS needs provision - 'we just don't see these thhings here' - until I see them at school and then it is the first time he has ever done it.

Grrrrrr.......on plus note, just finished project I've been working on all week and can now bill for it!!

Ds2 came out of school very wound up - all be it happy - and ran in front of me shouting 'knickers!' Somestimes I think I should just join in . When is it time for wine?

Hi all, dh away and I am on the wine already! we have something special theme park on for the 'nth' time and if I hear Justin say the words 'tiny trucks' again I will scream!

However week been good, (sympathy to all who have shitty ones). Ds went to a party!!! and managed ok, he blew the candles out ooops! but his friend and her mum were fine about it, (they 'get' him)

Also lovely SLT was really positive and saw the progress he has macde, (unlike stinky school!)

ds birthday Mon and we have (hopefully) booked the hydrotherapy pool for him and a few friends for next weekend.

Life feels like a lull patch, so will enjoy before the next storm
