Bored tonight, Dh finishing float for tomorrow at Wellington. DS2 edgy as well- try and etach a complicated dance routine to a kid with dyspraxia and yes.....

Don't think there's any alcohol even if I did dare drink wioth boys in house. Boo.

Evening, a rare treat to get on mn nowadays. Ds2 had quite a good week and is finally getting to grips with his dynavox.

You lot have distracted me, I meant to put the oven on so DH's dinner would be on when he gets back from taking the dcs swimming so it won't be quite so obvious I've just been drinking wine and MNing.

With a bit of luck oven will hot enough for some enticing smells by the time he gets back. Do you think it might be a bit OTT if I put a pinny on?

I am slowly working up the courage to ask one of the dads at school if his DS can come for tea at mine with DS2. Might be brave enough next term.

right.. I have hot choc, work is sorted enough to deal with tomorrow, pc is turned off ( I'm all comfy on the sofa with my phone) .. I'm ready :)

Nowt but a bit of manky old sherry to be had in the house tonight, so I guess I'll go get a cup of tea to have while I knit. I'm up for an early night, anyhow, since last night's wind and rain kept me awake. The kids actually slept through it.

my boys are with their dad tonight and dd is at a sleep over.. Dh is at work and all I can hear is nothing.. It's bliss!
Barring the headache from hell has now turned into the runny nosed cold from hell.. So I'm not on the wine :o

Big glass for me please. DS had an awful day,came out of school in tears,really stressed etc...He has just about calmed down and his headache has gone. Am really worried but seeing EP Monday so hopefully will get some help.

Good couple of days here. I started back at uni yesterday, and already might have my film sorted for this term. Following on from my adventures on ice with my mate, I'm hopefully doing another documentary, this time on a wheelchair basketball team in the area.

I may have to have a go, all in the name of research you understand and because it looks like jolly good fun :)

Getting my hair done tomorrow (dying it purple!) then meeting with the team secretary in the afternoon to discuss the idea. People at uni seem interested, and are giving me some great advice. Bit nervous because all my other films have involved people close to me so this is a bit outside my comfort zone as I don't know the man, or any of the team in fact.

Oh, and boo! Going to have to wait til October to find out if DSA will fund a software upgrade I need because the man who does it is on holiday out of the office til October.
