First weigh in yesterday and I lost 1.4 kg really happy with that as I haven’t felt hungry at all! Loving the pinch of nom meals!

Saladd0dger · 18/01/2023 11:12

Good morning 😃

week 2 for me and another 5lb loss. Taking me to 10lbs off.
I also got slimmer of the week ☺️

Good luck Wednesday weighers 🤞🏻

Rockingcloggs · 18/01/2023 12:13

Well done @Saladd0dger 😊😊

Wilma55 · 18/01/2023 17:30

Well done everyone.
Went to Iceland today and bought Chicken Tikka Masala- the SW meals seem expensive but you get a much bigger portion than say Sainsburys BGTY. Will let you know my verdict!

Got the 10% off but person on till had to check up about it.

Dies anyone know how much longer they are giving out the refresher packs at meetings?

Virgo1958 · 19/01/2023 10:56

I took my email to Iceland for the 10% off as I'm an online member and they didn't know about it.

Did you manage to get the discount ? I used mine yesterday to get the Warburtons Pittas but even with the discount Asda are cheaper. (except they had sold out 😥)

Virgo1958 · 19/01/2023 12:39

Yes I did get the discount but you're right some things are expensive in Iceland, Babybels are £4.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 19/01/2023 13:41

It's so cold and I have been SO hungry all day for the first time since starting SW really. I've eaten porridge and blueberries, Koko cheese and apple, soup and a deli roll with sliced chicken breast and I'm looking forward to dinner!! I've been doing jobs round the house that I usually ignore to distract myself from food- cleaned out under sink cupboard, cleaned the washing machine, tidied the drawer of doom in the kitchen and cleaned the mirrors. Roll on dinner time!!

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 20/01/2023 09:37

Weigh in today. A pound off, thats 4 since NYD. Bit slow but heading the right way!

Saladd0dger · 20/01/2023 10:13

Well done delta x

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 20/01/2023 11:05

Thank you. Was hoping for better, but I'll take it!

Ooshie · 20/01/2023 12:49

First weigh in today and lost 3.5lbs, was hoping for 4lbs so a little disappointed but I suppose it’s not that much difference in the grand scheme of things. Perhaps I’ll have a good loss again next week before settling into the usual 1lb per week loss.

PieonaBarm · 20/01/2023 14:09

Better off than on @DeltaAlphaDelta79 remember, 1lb a week is 52lb in a year which is 3st 8lb. Not to be sniffed at!

Yep thats what I am telling myself 😀

Rockingcloggs · 20/01/2023 15:09

Well done to the weighers today! My first weigh in tomorrow! Had a big loss last week weighing alone for my first week so not expecting anything too epic tomorrow!

TitaniasAss · 20/01/2023 18:26

I need to tell someone this as I'm so chuffed but don't want to sound like a braggy twat in real life! 🤣 Just had my first weigh in and lost 6.5lbs. I'm so over the moon and haven't been hungry once.

Ooshie · 20/01/2023 18:34

Wow that’s brilliant! Well done @TitaniasAss

PurpleFlower1983 · 21/01/2023 08:02

I’m back on SW after a year away and a 1.5 stone gain! 😭 Onwards and downwards!

AIAE26 · 21/01/2023 09:28

When measuring syns in a teaspoon of something, do people use a regular teaspoon (like one you use for your tea/coffee) or do people use a proper measuring teaspoon?

AIAE26 · 21/01/2023 09:29

You should brag! That's amazing!!

It depends how I'm feeling. If I'm making a recipe and it's sugar/honey type stuff then I'll use a measuring spoon or the scales. If it's salad cream or dressing on something I guess (and it will likely be twice as much as I think it is - especially as I bloomin love salad cream 🤣)

Rockingcloggs · 21/01/2023 10:55

4lb loss this week! Lost 7lb last week so I'm very happy!

LightandAiry · 21/01/2023 10:57

I'm with you there @PieonaBarm I love salad cream too.

Well done on the losses all. I weighed in this morning lost 1lb!

In group our consultant did the passing round some synthetic fat - ugh - and also her stone bag was out. It feels very heavy, but when we put on weight it goes on gradually all over & don't notice the weight we're carrying, but my knees are thanking me for it, pain in my right knee has gone.
