I bought one on Thursday @Carpediem15, there were only a few tins of it though.

searchingforme · 15/01/2023 11:04

Ooh can I join please! I started Monday thought didn’t officially join as I’ve been a member before (anyone else doing it from memory and Google? Should I join online? I can’t attend a group as no evening ones near me)

I’m 40
5ft 1
73.6 kg
size 14/16

goal is 60kg
size 12

ive got all the pinch of nom books so using them a lot.

going to read the thread now 😊

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 15/01/2023 11:43

A little random but I don't want to weigh anymore. I become a slave to a number on a scale and that number controls my mood. My local consultant said she would do blind weigh ins but I'm thinking of just doing online and following the rules but not weighing. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to tell if I'm losing weight.

Does anyone know of any offers for online at all?

Ooshie · 15/01/2023 12:12

I would like to join you all too! I have a big birthday coming this autumn and I’d like to feel comfortable in myself by then. I have 1.5 stone to lose and joined a group this week. I’m also going to read this thread and catch up! Good luck everyone!

Ooshie · 15/01/2023 12:13

I will add that I’d like to lose the weight before summer, I hate hot weather so I’m hoping slimming down might make it more bearable (no chub rub etc.)

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 15/01/2023 13:22

I would like to lose weight for summer too as we are having our first holiday abroad in 7 years. I have lost successfully with sw previously.

Saladd0dger · 15/01/2023 13:44

Afternoon lovelies. Last night everyone else had chippy tea. I made myself a lovely chicken kebab in the air fryer. Was delicious. Had with a weight watchers wrap and salad. Does anyone have any good fake away recipes?

Wilma55 · 15/01/2023 14:29

Haven't tried all these but generally find pon pretty good...

There were 3 different Pinch of Nom books in Aldi today for £4.99 - bought the Quick and Easy one and had a quick look at it on the bus and the fakeaways look good.

ThatDreamSheep · 15/01/2023 20:10

What is your go-to sweet treat that won't break the syn-bank?

Ooshie · 15/01/2023 20:18

I go for an options hot chocolate and use some of my HexA. 2 syns.

Rockingcloggs · 16/01/2023 06:14

I don't tend to have too many syns throughout the day but I do have a skinny bar every night while I'm watching telly!

ThatDreamSheep · 16/01/2023 07:39

See I like something sweet but not the biggest chocolate fan (will eat a bar but not other chocolate flavoured things) so the hi-fis are no interest to me. I've just made the jelly sweets so hoping they will be nice!

I think I'm going to make the toffee ice cream out of the new PON this weekend! It looks quite easy!

LightandAiry · 16/01/2023 12:58

Toffee ice cream sounds lovely. Does it look easy to make?

I had baked oats for breakfast, with HEXB walnuts, and I was full until lunch time....no snacking. Does anyone else have them for breakfast?

Urgh totally sabotaged myself and ate the biggest piece of cake ever and then a twirl. Why whhhhhy. Got two days to pull it back!!

LightandAiry · 16/01/2023 16:31

You'll be OK @Noshowlomo just one piece of cake won't ruin this week.

Carpediem15 · 16/01/2023 16:59

In our local Iceland we were told if we pick the right staff on the till on Tuesday when it is also 10% for over 60's you are likely to get both the 10%'s off (20 altogether).
Somebody is going in tomorrow to see if it works. 😄

Ooshie · 16/01/2023 18:30

Thanks for the heads up @Wilma55
@Noshowlomo draw a line under it and keep on plan, you haven’t written off your week!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/01/2023 18:39

My go to sweet treat is a meringue nest, chopped fruit (strawberries, raspberries, banana), muller light green style yogurt and a few mini marshmallows.

Wilma55 · 16/01/2023 19:13

@Carpediem15 you might be lucky ...

Thanks for the heads up about the Iceland discount.
Have missed two weeks and not really been very on plan, including one weekend when we celebrated our 55 year anniversary with our family, ( I was a child bride of course), so was thrilled to have lost a 1.5 lbs at tonight’s weigh-in . Also collected the new Fast Food book which was the deal when I signed up to 6 weeks all those weeks ago so that will give me some ideas and motivation for next week.
just read through several pages of the thread since my last peruse and there are some wonderful losses. Brilliant stuff. Also lots of new posters which is lovely.

AdditionalCharacter · 18/01/2023 07:52

Another 2lb off for me last night. Please with that. Aiming for 7lb a month so going great so far.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 18/01/2023 08:21

I had a weird week, only lost 0.2 kilos even though I didn't slip up at all. When this has happened before I've lost loads the following week so hoping that's the case again.
