When did Philadelphia stop being an A choice?

When did Philadelphia stop being an A choice?

Ages ago. Like a couple of years I think. But I still use it as one on the rare occasions I have it!

Noshowlomo · 12/01/2023 21:23

Lost 4.5lb woo hoo! Aiming for 2 next week now

What's the amount? Is it still 35g of the light one? I used to like it on ryvita, and laughing cow triangles are bland.

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 13/01/2023 09:44

Checking in from last week. Crappy week food wise, and our left over christmas food/sweets have been put in the loft to avoid temptation! Managed to scrape 1.5 pounds off, which isn't brilliant, but better than on! Hoping to do better this week, as my brain is slowly going back to normal with regards to craving crap!

pappajonessecretchild · 13/01/2023 10:28

i still use philadelphia as a healthy extra, i know its not but heyho. My go to meal if i am feeling really hungry is a bowl of macaroni pasta, veg, and a 35g amount of philadelphia stirred into it. Its my favourite meal, just so warm and filling. but offically should be synned.

CountryCatLady · 13/01/2023 12:09

3lb off! Really happy with this 😁

Going to aim for 1 for next week...

Wilma55 · 13/01/2023 13:59

Wow some really good losses, making me nervous for my WI tomorrow.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 13/01/2023 14:28

Just discovered an Aldi SW Facebook group which is great, I've already discovered that their soft deli rolls which are delicious are a HEX B so are soft whole-wheat pittas.

Have you got a link, or name of the group please?

Found it thank you. There are two, one is SW with Aldi and the other is SW with Aldi Support Group, I have joined both!

Wilma55 · 14/01/2023 09:04

Thanks @MrsPelligrinoPetrichor I've joined too

Rockingcloggs · 14/01/2023 13:32

Hello!! I have joined again today! I lost 7st in 2019 with SW and have put an awful lot back on by not sticking to target and eating shit (not actual shit which I believe is free on all plans!).

I batch cooked al out meals last Sunday for the past week and found it so much easier! Will be doing the same this week!

Carpediem15 · 14/01/2023 13:53

1lb off today - almost at target but not quite. I only have 1 class left that is paid for so don't know whether to stick at next week weight or carry on paying for 2.5 lbs.
Also joined the SW facebook groups. Thanks

Wilma55 · 14/01/2023 15:48

If you have an air fryer (or even if you haven't!) you can now search the sw app recipes specifically for those recipes.

LightandAiry · 14/01/2023 16:50

I weighed in this morning gained 1.5lb not sure how, but 3lb down since New Year's Eve as I had a big loss last week.

Welcome @Rockingcloggs I like the idea of batch cooking. What did you cook?

Thanks for link to ALDI group. I know packet golden rice is free if I've remembered correctly.

Thank you! 😊

We bought the new Pinch of Nom book - chicken supreme
Meatball lasagne
Carne Asade(?!)
Cheesy Nacho Burgers
Dijon chicken and dumplings
Cuban Beef

They were all lovely! So much easier to just get out of the freezer and warm up after work too! That's where my downfall is, the rush to get something ready after life and work gets in the way! I work as office manager for a building maintenance company and so am surrounded by blokes who are all greedy gobblers with food so the temptation is real! (For the food not the builders!!)

LightandAiry · 14/01/2023 17:20

They all sound lovely, you've encouraged me to pull myself together......I work 3 days glued to a PC and I am always so hungry and this week I sabotaged myself. For some reason I am hungrier when sat on my backside all day. A nice builder could be a distraction from office goodies for you! Someone is always bringing in biscuits/sweets/cakes.....this week though I can WFH.

I have the Comfort Punch of Nom book. I am veggie so some nice stews would be good. Just getting it off the shelf.

@LightandAiry

The new one 'Enjoy' is my favourite, there are a couple of Veggie ones in there and I suppose any of them can be adapted to meat free too!

Dontsparethehorses · 14/01/2023 19:56

1.5lb off which is last weeks gain at least… another 1.5 and I’m pre Christmas weight so that’s this weeks target.., she says whilst drinking gin 😂 all about balance right?!

TitaniasAss · 14/01/2023 20:23

Can I join you please? I went back to group on Thursday after 4 years off (4 years of piling on the timber).

Aldi's tinned chicken in white sauce is 1 syn for the whole tin. Bulk it up with mushrooms and peppers, easily does 2 meals

Not seen it for ages - I used to buy it and then it disappeared and nobody seems to know if it will come back in our Aldi.
The one from Lidl is 6 syns and not as nice.
