Haven't weighed for a couple of weeks but got weighed today, a pound off! Although I'm weighing at boots now as I've stopped going to group and I'm not sure if they weigh in half pounds or not. Either way the scales are going in the right direction! So close to my half a stone now! I've lost 5.5 pounds so far in just under 3 months. Slow and steady wins the race! We do have scales at home but the house is so uneven (200 year old house) I don't trust what they say 😂

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 21/04/2022 16:28

Thursday I fasted - water only but had dinner of lasagne from SW veggie deluxe book. Nicer the day after tbh but I liked it

Friday: B: nothing

Lunch: soft pitta, prawns and cottage cheese and salad (pitta is a b I hope )

Dinner: Chinese (!) for son's birthday and a tiny bit of cake that broke off when I cut it (I made it so was quality testing 🤔)

Today:

B: just coffee as late

Lunch: leftover lasagne

Dinner: gardeners pie - omg. Delicious 2 syns as I added cheese but mash with veg stock was a revelation. So smooth and tasty

Snacks: nothing yet! But I'm planning a wine so no doubt snacks will follow.

Tomorrow I'll be good again

Morning, was off work last week and so off plan too but back on it today!

@Plantsandpuddlesuits your gnocchi bake sounds divine

L - cheese toastie (HEA, HEB, 2 syns for sauce) and some raspberries

T - bacon and tomato pasta with cheese (HEA) and garlic bread (5)

S - skinny whip bar (4.5) and grapes

have also found myself full of the cold so having plenty cups of tea for my sore throat, i barely take a splash so will be 3 syns worth max

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 25/04/2022 14:01

Thanks @JingleAndTonic the gnocchi thing was lovely, we used to have gnocchi quite alot but I forgot about it 😂 gnocchi bolognaise bake is good too

I also have a bit of a sore throat and alot of people have said the same I wonder if it's the start of hay fever season?

Here's yesterday....

Brunch....fake mcmuffin yet again 🤣 but this time on a ww wrap for hex b.

Dinner.... sausages, mash, veg, gravy. 2 syns for sausages (heck chicken Italia) 4 for frozen mash and 1.5 for gravy.

Today....

B... porridge (hex b and some hex a) with stewed apple. I know you are meant to syn cooked fruit but it's literally apple and water so I dont personally syn it.

L... subway chicken teriyaki salad all free.

Snack.... pineapple just now before school run

D.... having prawn pad Thai. 2 syns for noodles and 4 for sauce. Prawns and veg are free.

Haven't had any treats today (yet)

Blimeyherewegoagain · 25/04/2022 14:09

I’m back! Last week I wrote off as it was a bit of a disaster. 0.5lb on which isn’t as bad as I thought.
B - skipped
L- Bang bang chicken salad pot from Aldi (3)
D- mushroom stroganoff from the app . Hoping to use A for the Philly as I couldn’t get the very low fat stuff

snacks- 2 Aldi equivalent HiFi (b), chocolate 5.5, milk for teas (a2)

LeftyLou · 25/04/2022 14:31

The yogurts are actually called Muller light chocolate fix layers. You can also get light chocolate fix and they are around 5 syns each. I have seen chocolate and mint chocolate. All really nice.

There are some really nice sounding meals on here again

B mini chocolate weetabix hexb milk hexa

L broccoli and cheese soup hexa

T unknown as yet but likely chicken and pasta in a tesco own brand bolognase sauce. Its 8.5 syns for a jar so going to say 2 for a serving.

Treats kiwi plum skinny whip bar 4.5

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 25/04/2022 15:54

Thanks @LeftyLou also what's your brocolli and cheese soup?

LeftyLou · 25/04/2022 17:18

I roasted broccoli, courgette and carrot in garlic frylight. I used a chicken stock and mixed in some light blue cheese laughing cow. It could have done with a little more seasoning but was nice enough.

I wasn't sure about the blue cheese when I bought it but it was the only one they had of the lightest version. I love cheese but I'm very much a mild cheddar type but it did work well in the soup.

I shall also add pear and a mr freeze for 1. I got them for my nephews who decided they were too cold and they will eat them out in the sun 😂

JingleAndTonic · 26/04/2022 11:24

think it's a combination of both hayfever and cold for me, feel quite deathly! still testing neg for covid though so that's something.

L - broth with bread and butter (HEB, 2 syns)

T - harissa spiced beef pilaf, think this is syn free as no syns in harissa is there? all other ingredients are syn free anyway so if there's syns for the harissa it'll still be low syn!

S - raspberries, pineapple, skinny bar (4.5) and some cheese (HEA)

other HEA using in tea etc

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/04/2022 14:16
