It’s been a long time since I was a SW member but due to food allergies found I couldn’t really get going again. Looking forward to reading the posts here for inspiration for things I can eat. I’d love to lose a stone.

I struggle for breakfast ideas as I can’t eat fruit.

Well done @Blondeshavemorefun.

I didn't go to group this week so dont kbow my weight. Let's not talk about yesterday's food let's just say it was most certainly off plan! I'm still struggling with my sore foot so not feeling great.

Trying to have an on plan day today though! Plan for today and don't see it changing....

B....mix of shredded wheat and apricot wheats with warm milk. Banana.

L... making DH and I one of our favourite weekend lunches of Linda McCartney sausages baked with mushrooms then in an egg wrap with a little bit of brown sauce and lots of spinach.

D... making tacos everyone likes this. I'm not overly fussed on taco shells so will just have 1 for 3.5 syns and then rice with more of the taco mix. Spinach and rocket aswell. Ive recently been buying the veetee microwave rice that is like a split pot. One pot is perfect for one portion of it's just me having it. If I did a whole normal sachet of microwave rice is clearly eat the lot whereas these small pots are just as filling. Think they are 2 syns will report back in a second

Treats....5 syns for a can of ready mixed g and t can't wait for this later! Planning a really hot bath to try and fix this flipping foot with the g and t and read my kindle

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 02/04/2022 11:53

Rice has scanned at 1 syn per pot excellent news 😂 that's for the jasmine one I love jasmine rice

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/04/2022 15:41

I feel your pain with foot @Plantsandpuddlesuits

I badly sprained my knee and ankle over 5w ago and not right still. Aches and hard to walk on

B cereal b milk a apple

L jacket beans cheese a salad

T pizza. Think was 35 syns

Erm …….

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 03/04/2022 18:46

Here was today.... loved my meals today

B.... porridge and banana. Makes a change from pear 😂. Coffee

L...lunch with the kids at McDonald's. 6 chicken nuggets for 9 syns and a fruit bag (free). Diet coke.

D....this was delicious! "The spice tailors" brand Delhi biryani kit. 4.5 syns for the pack and that was between 2. Added in lean lamb (asked butcher's to trim the fat off) courgette, pepper, and peas and some omlette on top. There's a small portion for lunch this week aswell. Would definitely recommend. I was looking on the SW app at the other kits from this brand and alot of them were around 20 syns so you'd have to check, but this biryani one was only 4.5

About to have a cup of tea and that will be my food done for the day

JingleAndTonic · 04/04/2022 09:02

lost 1lb last week so happy with that after the yum yum etc!

L - crackers (6) with cheese (HEA) and some wafer thin chicken, like a lunchable i suppose, with raspberries and pineapple

T - curried chicken fajitas and SW chips, 1 syn for mango chutney and having 2 mini wraps which I'm going to count as HEB

S - skinny whip bar (4.5) and fruit

Thanks for that @Wilma55 we really like those ones. Good for weekend brunches. How are you getting on?
Wilma55 · 04/04/2022 17:18

@Plantsandpuddlesuits thanks for asking. Finding it quite hard now at target, am 2lb over and have been weighing in roughly every other week. Consultant I wasn't keen on is leaving and the alternative group is getting a different new leader so all change! I haven't been tracking either and have had a couple of hectic weekends. Excuses, excuses. How's the foot?

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 04/04/2022 18:27

2pounds over is hardly anything! Hope you settle in your new group.

Foot so much better thanks didn't realize how much it was hurting until it stopped hurting and I feel so much better.

I always find school holidays tricky as we naturally have more meals out, more takeaways etc but am just taking it one meal at a time!

JingleAndTonic · 05/04/2022 09:58

morning, we're back to snow in scotland, ridiculous weather!

L - bacon, egg, beans and toast with butter (HEB, 2 syns)

T - carmelised onion linguine with parmesan (HEA and 2 syns for reduced fat creme fraiche) and garlic bread (5)

S - crackerbreads (3) with pineapple cottage cheese

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 05/04/2022 10:38

Glad you are embracing the way of pineapple cottage cheese @JingleAndTonic 😂

Here was yesterday.....

B....shreddies and banana

L....loves this. Quesedilla made from Leftover taco mix in a Sainsbury's free from wrap only 3.5 syns (slightly strange texture though, more like a crêpe), refried beans (free) and a sprinkle of half.fat cheese

D.... butternut squash and med veg lasagne. I made it. Was quite nice. All the filling was free and speedy. White sauce was FF greek yogurt, egg and mustard (from pinch of nom lasagne recipe). I think we all prefer"normal" lasagne tbh. Half fat cheese on top.

Treats....mallow and marsh raspberry bar for 6.5 syns these are really nice. With a hot winter spice ribena. (Free) Not sure If you can still get this I stocked up over the winter 😂.

winter138 · 05/04/2022 14:02

Hi everyone, I'd love to join! Been trying to follow SW again as of yesterday. I'm 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow and beginning to feel like i can tolerate non-beige foods again Smile

I've not joined a group and haven't got online membership so all my syns are guesses from google searches etc. So might be out of date/wrong. I also don't know if you're meant to eat more HExs or not... winging it!

Snacks - coffee w/milk, ginger biscuit (6), yogurt, orange x 2
HExAs - 1 x cheese, 1 x milk
HExB - 40g oats
Syns total = 16.5, whoops, a couple more than hoped but first day!

Today so far (and plan for later)
B - 35g fruit and fibre, 75ml SS milk, tea, berries
L - jacket potato (1 for oil), beans, 30g cheese
D - pasta bolognese, parmesan, salad
Snacks - banana, orange, cereal bar (5), tea, watermelon, kit kat (5.5)
HExAs - 1 x cheese, 0.5 x milk, 0.5 x parmesan
HExB - fruit and fibre
