All welcome Smile I joined Slimming World in November and so far lost 9.5lb, a bit of a gain over Christmas but getting there - I have around 3 stone to lose and I am looking forward to fitting into clothes not worn for a long time and have a big family wedding coming up. I would like to look like the slim, glamourous Aunt in the photos (without upstaging the bride!) Grin

Was a very bad blondes yesterday

full roast dinner with

proper roast potatoes in oil
yorkis in in beef drilling
mint gravy
apple caramel crumble

and lots of healthy free veg 😂😂

I know it’s one meal 1/21 but fear a gain next Fri

will be very good next few days

Hi all. Hope people are having good weeks. Mine is up and down in terms of food. Good day today though so hoping to have some sort of a loss despite the less open-plan days from the weekend.

I'm not in a race, just happy to have things generally going in the downward direction without completely stopping all enjoyable things or turning everything down in order to lose weight. There was a food festival in town at the weekend so I had a delicious and off plan duck wrap and a cupcake. Ate too much and did nothing much yesterday, then on plan with lots of free veg and fruit today.

Can I join in? Was fairly successful during lockdown, the ran a marathon, and continued to carb load but not run anymore *rolls eyes at self, so I have gained a stone and I already another half to lose. I then tried macros last week, and gained 3lbs 😂I clearly didn't do it right!

So on Tuesday, I started again. I'm already feeling better, but Thursday is the day I make or break my week, so need to be really careful. I've not got hte app, but have gone old school with an old book I have, and print out diary, I find that easier to manage.

I haven't been on for a good few weeks I completely forgot my password! How is everyone doing?

I haven't really been focused on it too much and it has shown on the scales. Think last time I posted I was 2 on then the week after I lost half, the week after that I was 1.5 on then a maintain.

I went yesterday and I had lost 1 lbs. I was really pleased with that although I am now 3 lbs up on my lowest weigh in. So got a bit of catching up to do.

I go away to Whitby in 4 weeks and would like a bit more off before then because I am not going to be good optimising whilst away.

I do like the idea of the marbles for syns. How does that work?

May I join in? Have been referred to SW by doc for pre-diabetes. Should have started this Tuesday, but Covid household here. 3 out of 5 down with it and although symptom free didn’t want to risk spreading it. Trouble is, I shall treat this as an excuse to have several ‘ last flings’ before next Tuesday.

Hi all. Welcome @ShakeItOff40 and @Dahliasrule . Been for weigh in after being away. 3.5 gain, which isn't good, but has focused my mind somewhat. Have started counting properly again, and am using my marble syns jar. All used for today, but have pre-counted my bedtime 2 finger kit cat, so all is not lost.

Not having a good week, lunch out, though did have pizza with salad in middle BUT accompanied by glass of red, plus fruit and nut chocolate last night! Did line dancing yesterday so hope that burnt off a bit. WI on Saturday.

Re the marbles - put the number of syns (marbles) you have each day into a jar then everytime you use a syn move one out of the jar and put into another container. That way you can see how many you have left for the day.

@Carpediem15 I found the cheapest place for marbles was The Works, as they tend to come in very small packets, and unfortunately DD is too old to use marbles now! Chances are you can use jars, or coffee jars you have already.
