All welcome Smile I joined Slimming World in November and so far lost 9.5lb, a bit of a gain over Christmas but getting there - I have around 3 stone to lose and I am looking forward to fitting into clothes not worn for a long time and have a big family wedding coming up. I would like to look like the slim, glamourous Aunt in the photos (without upstaging the bride!) Grin

Every little helps, according to Mr Tesco!

LightandAiry · 11/09/2022 21:56

Well done Carpediem15

We had an active day in Bristol - walked over 20,000 steps. Great city, hopefully we'll be back, but I'll avoid any more Maths taster sessions. I may have understood the first sentence!

Feeling refreshed and ready to do my food diary again. Hope you all had a good weekend.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 12/09/2022 10:28

Bristol is impressive @LightandAiry well done on all the walking. I went for a walk in the woods yesterday, which was really good for my soul, as well as physical health. Going away tomorrow, but buying some healthy stuff to take as we're self catering.

LightandAiry · 13/09/2022 12:26

I love walking in the woods SpongeBobJudgeyPants even though it's raining slightly I'm off to town in a short while - about 2 miles.

So far so good this week, tomorrow is my challenging day; working from home so that's a plus. There's something about sitting down all day that makes me want to snack.

How are you all doing?

LightandAiry · 13/09/2022 12:28

Enjoy your break from tomorrowSpongeBobJudgeyPants self catering is good, also cheaper.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/09/2022 14:04

Enjoy break @SpongeBobJudgeyPants

hows mad wed @LightandAiry

week going ok. Should lose a lb on Friday

kinda missing my 5 extra syns

LightandAiry · 14/09/2022 16:40

I just st typed a reply and it disappeared!

Blondeshavemorefun I've eaten more often and drunk more water to avoid sabotage Wednesday. Already had 14 syns but planning SW chips & salad when I am home from yoga class at 7.30.

Painful to lose 5 syns. I lost count of syns last Wednesday. You and me both hoping for 1lb....

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/09/2022 19:00

What did you have syns on @LightandAiry I TEND TO USE MINE ON Crisps and snack bar

plus butter if have toast for breakie

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 16/09/2022 08:24

Thanks all. On our way home today. Synny break, but have done loads of excercise. Swimming lots, table tennis by the lake, and walked about two hours. Went to Morecambe, where they are filming the next series of The Bay and watched them a bit. Denied acess to good cafe, cos they're filming there. Ended up in Spoons, but with a salad. May not counteract all the syns alas!

How is everyone today?

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/09/2022 08:26

Lost 1.5lbs here and in next stone bracket so happy blondes

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants love the bay. How exciting

Wilma55 · 16/09/2022 11:57

Exciting to see tv filming. I once saw a film (?) being shot in Paris but never found out what it was! Saturday class has moved back to original venue tomorrow so am going but know will be big gain. Might buy 6 week countdown.

I listened to the "new start" podcast which was less annoying than usual as the guest did a lot of the talking, worth a listen.

Good luck over the weekend everyone!

Wilma55 · 16/09/2022 11:58

Well done @Blondeshavemorefun

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 16/09/2022 16:11

Good result, Blondes. You'll feel better when you've been and weighed and know where you are, Wilma. 6 weeks blocks are a good way of ensuring I go, for me.

LightandAiry · 16/09/2022 20:16

Well done Blondeshavemorefun great result

SpongeBobJudgeyPants I've found some fruit ryvitas in Sainsbury's....worth a look. Exciting to see The Bay being filmed. I saw the first series none since then.

We are off to Spain tomorrow fingers crossed the strike of air traffic controllers doesn't affect us. No weigh in for me until October. I will try my best not to have a gain over holiday

LightandAiry · 16/09/2022 20:27

Wilma55 the gain may not be as big as you think. I'll catch the podcast when home from holiday.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/09/2022 20:28

Slain. Sun. Enjoy holiday @LightandAiry

Carpediem15 · 16/09/2022 21:14

I love those Fruity Ryvitas and could eat one right now but have weigh in at 9.30 so not having anything else. Now it is getting colder I was going to put my denim jumps suit on in the morning but it seemed heavy when I took it out of the wardrobe so I weighed it. 😄it weighs 650 gms, that's over 1 pound
more than my cotton one so sod that for a game of soldiers I want that club 10 tomorrow.
Well done on the weight losses and enjoy Spain, wish I was going there. I love The Bay and glad it is coming back for another series.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/09/2022 22:53

@Carpediem15 that’s 12hrs away. Eat it now then be fine by tomorrow wi

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 17/09/2022 11:16

@LightandAiry thanks. Hope you have fab hols. I do lots more excercise on hols, so hopefully that will do for you. I also read that your metabolism gets more effective on hols. No idea why! Just enjoy it. You've earned it. @Carpediem15 I always wear the absolute lightest thing I can. I've been wearing light cropped summer trousers, and it's getting past the point of them looking ridiculous, so a weigh in of other options is on the cards. @Blondeshavemorefun next stone bracket is always a significant milestone IME, and I think you should treat yourself to a non food reward!

How is everyone today?

Wilma55 · 17/09/2022 11:51

I have a list of how much various clothes weigh! Put on a pound but not weighed since 23 August and was wearing non weigh in clothes. That makes me 6.5 over 🎯
Didn't buy a 6 week countdown, hopefully get within 3lb range quicker than that.

Have a lovely holiday @LightandAiry.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2022 13:36

Ffs wrote long post and went poof

sorry for gain @Wilma55 will come off next week

Carpediem15 · 17/09/2022 14:08

Bit miffed this morning as I was 1/2 down, enough for Club 10 but thought it would have been 1.5 as I have been on plan with a couple of speed days but hey ho. Good job I didn't wear the jump suit as it would have been a gain. 😮wore my usual cotton trouser but had a body warmer and jacket on to walk there. Will also have to do a wardrobe weigh in.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2022 15:15

Take body Warmer off next time

Carpediem15 · 17/09/2022 17:35

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2022 15:15

Take body Warmer off next time

I did take it off 😄weighed in my usual trousers and t shirt.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 17/09/2022 17:52

@Wilma55 , that sounds like a small gain for that amount of time. @Carpediem15 well done for Club 10.
