SpongeBobJudgeyPants I do like the sound of that rice pudding. I don't use my slow cooker enough, especially in this weather, saves the oven going on. Park Run sounds fun, but I am partly put off by my Dh who does very well and finishes in half the time I do. I know I shouldn't let it put me off, but I don't do it with him iyswim. There is a pub at the start and finish of our Park Run, and they lay on coffees, which is nice. It's a lovely route by the waterside, best one round here.
Carpediem I hope you like Chelle's YouTube channel. I like most of her content, she is super organised and I was actually inspired to do a power hour of cleaning! I like tracymouse as she is showing us how she is maintaining, which is the challenging bit.
I have been thinking....as you do on a Sunday. I found an old note book from 2010, and I'd recorded my weight, I'd lost 1.5 stone. It occurred to me that maintaining is a great achievement that needs constant work, and it's lifelong.
In my mind, I think "well that's the diet over" and go back bit by bit to old habits, especially as I am a comfort eater, and just generally enjoy my food very much. I started at the weight I am now in 2010, then lost the weight. This time I gained twice another 1.5 stone. My measurements were 3 inches less than I am now and I still have the clothes I fitted into, nice summer stuff that hasn't dated.
I've not actually lost any weight since my 1.5 stone award in March; same few pounds on and off, but if I hadn't carried on at group I would have gained most back by now.
This time I am seeing it through and staying as a target member. Realistically life happens and there are times when we gain back some of the weight. But I do feel so much better having lost 22.5lb, the same again to lose now. Taking into account blips, cappuccinos, life etc realistically I am aiming for January.
Hope everyone is OK.
