It's Monday, I've weighed in and I'm still 12 stone. Been a bit slack in the last week. I've been trying to give up my biggest vice which is wine, so I sort of decided last week that was my focus, which resulted in me overlooking a few syns...or fifty 🤫

Anyone want to start a support group on here?

I need to get back to 11 stone, I have a work uniform to get back into in October (when I go back from maternity leave). This is my motivation.

So I loveeeee the Hifi bars but I'm trying not to buy them because I'm greedy with them and would rather have weetabix

Started doing sw in november weighing 13st 10, and 5ft 7 tall. Aim to get below 11 st.

Now weigh 12st 6. Just had my first weight lost over six weeks. Not quite sure what I have done different this week though!

I’m one of those people who loose 1/2lb -1lb per week. Always envious of this who can loose 2-5lb per week. I know I’m not the quickest weightloss looser, but slow and steady wins the day!

I have the hifi bars because I need to have something crunchy to eat to make me feel full. And because I can have 2 as the hex b i have one in the morning and one in the evening.
I made curry yday evening so that will be today's lunch. Have to use up some mince so will probably do lasagne/burger for dinner.
@WhoUsedMyName all I ever think about is what I can eat next Smile

@Dk20 me too that's how I got this size 🤣 I made a lovely pasta last night then when I went to bed was thinking I should of ate more so that will be lunch today with loads of fruit 🍉

Hello everyone!

Weigh in day today, lost 0.8kg. So total loss (since beginning of the month) is 4.2kg (a smidge over 9lbs), I’ll take that!

I’m still really enjoying all the meal planning an prep, my fruit and veg intake has sky rocketed, and day to day it’s been going ok. I am conscious though that I’m home most of the time, so little in the way of temptation to ‘cheat’ at the moment.

I’m not up for revealing my weight. However, if I have lost a lot this week, I think its because I have a lot to lose. I should think that 1-2lbs a week is good, because its sustainable.

For the pp who asked i started back at 12.7, my ideal weight is around 10.5-11 so I'm hoping to lose 2 stone.

Agree that losing half/a pound a week is a great loss, I always feel like it's more sustainable than losing loads.

How do you all feel about excercise? I know it's not overly mentioned loads at group. I'm making sure I'm doing 10,000 steps a day but interested in differing results with excercise?

I've lost weight twice before on slimming world, the weight flew right off me and I wasnt exercising at all.
This time I am exercising and the weight is coming off much slower but have still lost a stone in 2 months.
I'm trying to do 20 mins on the rowing machine as many days as I can/get out for a walk in the hill-y woods I live beside. After the rowing machine, I get aches in my legs, and back so feel they are toning up, but when walking I get out of breath and really feel like I've had a workout. Not sure which is best

I feel like I need to tone up a bit too, so that's why I'm thinking I should maybe try exercising more.
A stone in 2 months is a great result I would be happy with that so I'll maybe try doing a couple of workouts a few times a week.

Trying to push how long I walk for at night too to make sure I'm out with the dog for at least an hour too.

Was planning to make lasagne for dinner but the mince was off colour (although still in date) so I didn't use it.
I just made homemade chips topped with bacon and a sprinkle of cheese (hex a), wanted to do something fast to get out with the kids and enjoy the weather.
Will prob have a half syn yoghurt and sw bar in the evening.

All day my friend has been laughing at me she's like you haven't stopped talking about food. Il be waffling away then be like so what you having for dinner.... 10mins later ooo what did you have for breakfast 😳🤣

I still don't no how you can eat so much carb and lose weight 🤔 yesterday for lunch I sliced potatoes in circles with skins on part boiled them fry lite salt and pepper and put in the air fryer then had beans on top was heaven felt like I was missing half a block of cheese 🧀

I joined online the third week of lockdown so a good few months . I'd like to lose another stone but I'm stuck . I don't eat milk it have dairy or alcohol so I'm not sure what to except keep trying .

Hi everyone 👋

I joined SW last week, I've done it 3 tiles before and each time I lose, then get cocky, stop following plan, leave, put on 1/2 the weight I lost then go back

Desperate to not do that this time!!!

I've ordered hifi bars from the website, I often get to the end of the day without using a or b so if I have hifi bars I can eat those in the evening as a treat and kill 2 birds

Ooh I didn't know you could order HiFi bars on the website, I'll need to order some.

I've tried eating alpen bars and other low fat ones before but I always think they taste really like sweeteners and I don't like them.

Then dh brought me home an Icecream which was 13.5 and I couldn't resist (blaming baby) this is my problem! So anyway if I don't use my Syns today will this be ok Blush

I wouldn't worry too much about it if I'm honest.

Everyone is different and their weight loss is different but I know a lot of people who have one day a week off and don't worry about it and still manage to lose, so sure a couple of syns over as a one off will be fine, especially if you don't eat as many syns today Smile
