I really like skyr but tend to have the fruit flavoured ones which have a few syns.
It's quite filling I think I like Greek yogurt too but tend to put a drizzle of something sweet on it.
I lost a pound this morning I can't stay at moment as my kids are just too noisy so just weigh and go.
B-ff Greek yogurt with raspberries, mango and pineapple agave nectar (1)
L-baked potato beans and ham with salad
Two hifis
D-Italian chicken and potatoes with roasted veg.

Afternoon all. I've had some good days in preparation for some not so good ones. 😂I'm taking my daughters away for a couple of days tomorrow and whilst I'm going to be mindful, I AM having a seaside ice cream, no doubt about that. 😂

Yesterday's food was
Brunch: cheese omelette
Dinner : SW Wedges and two slices of Chicago Town pizza (8 syns)

Today will be
Brunch: pizza omelette
Dinner: homemade all veg pasta bake with mozzarella.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/08/2019 15:25

@WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa. Have a lovely holiday

I notice you tend to do 2 meals. How do you manage that?

I need 3

@Blondeshavemorefun It's just the pattern I've slipped into whilst I'm off (school based so have six weeks off) Because im not doing anything im not as hungry. When I'm in work I will have breakfast - usually yogurt/fruit. And I will be having the B&B breakfasts because they are bloody awesome. 😂

Morgan12 · 07/08/2019 16:00

Ah my last post aurocorrected fakeaway to takeaway 🙈

Today I've had an omlette and a banana.

Dinner is a dorito chicken burger and SW chips

Youwanapizzame · 07/08/2019 20:00

Hi ladies. I made campfire stew in the slow cooker on Monday. Weve had it for dinner 3 nights in a row!!!

However I didn't find it particularly nice... I used a gammon joint and a recipe from the slimming foodie. My husband liked it so perhaps a different recipe would be better. For me I found it very salty ( I love salt though) my husband didn't and hes NOT a salt fan. That could have been just the gammon though....

B- weetabix
L - tuna pasta salad
Snacks - about a half tonne of fruit
D - campfire stew jacket potato

Going to try a kind of crack chicken recipe tomorrow! Wish me luck 😁

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/08/2019 20:41

@Youwanapizzame I agree. I’ve made that and very salty

I’ve just eaten a whole melon

OP posts:
Ofpalestsilver · 07/08/2019 22:25

@Blondeshavemorefun I had an entire cantaloupe melon for lunch today! Grin

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 08/08/2019 08:49

Well done @Ofpalestsilver On your loss, that's awesome!
Forgot to list my food yesterday, but managed to resist the digestives. I did have 3 mini moments lollies tho (15syns) so defo had too many Syns however I did get to the gym at work. Happy enough.

troppibambini · 08/08/2019 16:01

@Ofpalestsilver well done that's a great loss.

Well I'm struggling.
I just can't get back into a good rhythm of eating well. I seem to do really well one day then have a bloomin awful day the next. I go away at the end of the month and appear to have forgotten to lose the three stone I had planned to loseGrin

So I'm combining slimming world with exante just to give myself a bit of a boost for my holiday.

So today my day looks like this

B-shake
L-bar
A banana
D-roast chicken, salad and caponata.

Ofpalestsilver · 09/08/2019 00:50

Is exante a meal replacement thing?

TigerJoy · 09/08/2019 02:11

1.5lb gain over holiday, which is ok

Absolutely knackered today, busy day at work

B: Banana and yogurt
L: Avocado and egg nourish bowl from M&S, didn't think when I picked it up, 3.5 syns but good ones
D: tricolour pasta with butter (4 syns) parmesan and a drop of truffle oil

Snacks: 2 hifi, 2 chocolates, mint choc chip icecream (18.5 syns in total)

Rather lost the plot today - stressed at work (hence stress eating 2 chocs), cycled 45 mins in total then after 50 min dog walk was too tired to make my planned syn-free stir fried rice and had some simple (and very tasty pasta)

Had less than 15 syns yesterday so figured it was ok - got my period as well and really wanted and enjoyed the ice cream!

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/08/2019 13:50

@troppibambini sorry you are struggling. Assume it’s a pill? HOpe gives you the push

@TigerJoy that’s good for a holiday

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/08/2019 13:51

2lb loss. Really happy with that

B toast b butter 2 marmite fruit

L pasta in TOM and veg sauce and cheese a

T jacket tuna mayo 2 - salad

S fruit crisps 5

OP posts:
TigerJoy · 09/08/2019 14:36

Well done @blondeshavemorefun!

Yes, 1.5lbs gain isn't too bad. I was quite pleased overall as I felt I struck a good balance between being sensible and enjoying myself

B: skyr yoghurt - 1.5 syns
L: baked potato, ham and salad - butter 2 syns
D: fried rice: chicken, prawns, mushrooms, coop stirfry veg pack, sweetcorn, 1 egg, all stir-fried with ginger, garlic and chill, plus soy sauce and a few drops of sesame oil. Uncle Ben microwave pack of rice - 1syn

Snacks - 1 chocolate (3 syns) , 2 hifi bars

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/08/2019 15:00

That sounds yummy @tiger

I must try and but stir fries veg mix

OP posts:
dexterslockedintheshedagain · 09/08/2019 23:04

I have disgraced myself.
Bottle of wine last night and two magnum ice creams - not to mention the crisps.....
Never mind, back on it today ....

TigerJoy · 09/08/2019 23:41

It's delicious and super tasty but not what I ended having!

Had a knackering day at work, period from hell, invasive medical examination and blood tests for fertility issues, and I just curled up in a ball and cried when I got home. DH ordered takeaway pizza with pepperoni, then I had 1 hifi bar, 4?5? Lindt balls and a massive bowl of mint choc chip ice cream.

I'm not even counting the syns, I'd estimate a thousand, back on the wagon for tomorrow!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/08/2019 07:49

@dexterslockedintheshedagain oh dear but we all have blood. Hopeno hangover

@TigerJoy. Guessing head torch - hand and didlo cam. The tests aren’t nice but anything that can help with having a baby and being a mummy has got to be worth it

Don’t even think about the syns and start afresh today

OP posts:
TigerJoy · 10/08/2019 08:11

Yep that's the one. Normally would be fine but just was too much on top of everything else. Good news is everything looks ok so far.

I feel like I've put on half a stone overnight. Yuck.

When I've tried to do zero / very low syns after something like this it's backfired horribly and I've ended up feeling really deprived. What does everyone else do - have zero syns for a couple of days or just gone back to normal?

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/08/2019 10:34

Def good news all showing clear :)

And I can’t do o syns. I need mayo or crisps

So I may go lower but def have syns

Just forget about the extra yummy stuff

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 10/08/2019 12:54

B toast b spread 2 marmite and fruit

L Aldi pasta 6 and salad

T jacket mince and veg cheese a

Begrudge using 6 for cheesy pasta but was in cupboard

First day back with SW yesterday

B - Scrambled eggs

L - whole meal toast with laughing cow cheese

D - chicken, gravy and veg.

Was out for dinner and didn't know what went into the gravy or what the veg got cooked in so didn't have any syns to be on the safe side.

Today

B - scrambled eggs with spinach

L - omelette with chicken, cheese, peppers and a slice of toast

D - chicken stir fry with no noodles just lots of veg
