Sorry to hear that Blondes. I can't imagine what it must feel like.

Went out Monday night, drank a bottle of wine, plus 1 glass. Felt like pants yesterday, but tried to keep a lid on my eating.

Made a cashew nut wellington yesterday, it was delicious but not sure about syns. If I'm honest, I didn't care! It was filling though and I didn't snack at all. That's gotta help.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 23/10/2019 10:52

Thanks Tiger I love m&s so might get some on friday!!

So sorry to hear that Blondes, it's nice you still celebrate his birthday with drinks. I do something similar when it's my dads birthday.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 23/10/2019 10:57

Today's meals:

Weetabix (heb) with banana and blueberries on and 150ml skimmed milk (part hea)

Lunch - I have stomach ache (prob from eating more than usual so not sure what I'm going to have for lunch maybe just nibble on some crab sticks and have a coffee.

Tea is meat free burgers (1/2 syn) wholemeal muffin (2nd heb), 3 light cheese slices (2nd hea) celeriac chips and salad.

Snacks - will prob be fig, persimmon, oat oatcakes and nairns choc chop cookies (as that's all I have in atm)

troppibambini · 23/10/2019 11:11

Sounds like everyone feeling motivated!!
I gained at weigh in but didn't look how much.
I've made a promise to myself no more gains til xmas, when being realistic a couple of pounds will go on! Grin
Anyone want to join me?!

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 23/10/2019 12:03

@troppibambini count me in!
Can't weigh in til Sat am this week tho but I'll keep you posted

TigerJoy · 23/10/2019 14:41

Count me in! I'm going to weigh in this afternoon.

I want to lose a stone in a month. I've been farting about too long.

Been looking at sp meal plans and can't see how any of them will fit my life with an Italian unless we just eat separately!! Pasta bake tonight and tomorrow for him as he's on nights, but might make a 3 bean chilli for myself and have it with cauliflower rice.

Honestly, i think if i just stick to actual sw plan this coming week that would be enough...and also a bit of a miracle!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2019 14:55

Thanks all

And yes in for the no gain till Xmas

Let’s see what Friday brings

Apart from last night drinks I’ve been good

TigerJoy · 23/10/2019 16:28

1lb down at weigh in! Last one was a month ago so that's not exactly a win but I'm at least back in the game.

Doing my meal plan tonight and will use thus thread as my starting point!

Would appreciate links to good chinese fakeaways and curries. I have only done the sw tikka massala and honestly, it was horrid.

troppibambini · 23/10/2019 17:11

Best curry I've done is hairy biker madras if you don't like it too hot adjust the chilli.

Pack of boneless chicken thigh fillets (6)
Two onions
Two cloves garlic
Four red chillis (I usually use two makes it more balti heat wise)
Four teaspoons med curry powder
Tin tomatoes
Squirt of tom purée or about half tin
Quarter of a pint of chicken stock

Brown chopped onions, crushed garlic and half of the chillis
Add curry powder cook for a min
Add tinned Toms let it bubble for about 5 mins and reduce a bit.
Add the chicken and let it colour in the sauce it kind of goes white rather than browns
Add tom purée
Put in casserole dish add the stock
Slice the remaining chilli length ways and add (don't forget to remove at end)
I slow cook it in the oven at 150 for about three hours.
You can add spinach or any kind of veg or use casserole steak for a change.

It is really really goodSmile

troppibambini · 23/10/2019 17:13

Hurray to the xmas no gainers
We will be supermodels by xmas!!

@TigerJoy well done on your loss!!!

TigerJoy · 23/10/2019 17:30

@troppibambini oooooh slow cooked curry! I like the sound of that, I'll give it a whirl this weekend, thanks xxx

troppibambini · 23/10/2019 17:43

@TigerJoy it is really good.
Two chubby cubs have a big section on fake aways on their website I've made a couple of things and been impressed much nicer than Sw imo.

TigerJoy · 23/10/2019 19:03

Oooh thanks, just looking now! Great tip

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2019 22:15

So an easy curry is basically tinned toms. Curry powder. Stock. Garlic

OP posts:
TigerJoy · 24/10/2019 12:51

B- 1 muller light
L - 3 bean chilli (made last night) with fried eggs and easy salsa (cherry tomatoes cut in half with coriander, lime juice and salt). Lush!
D - pasta bake

S - 2 hifi

Determined this will be a good day

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/10/2019 13:35

B toast b ham eggs beans

L ommlette bacon peppers onion. Salad

T pasta bake

OP posts:
troppibambini · 24/10/2019 16:09

B-coffee
L- chicken bacon and bean casserole with rice and melon
2 hifis and a bite of shortbread (was forced by youngest!)
D-zesty chicken with noodles (2 chubby cubs)

Been for a long walk at a local NT place with the kids, trying to motivate myself to start my ironing mountain but struggling much more comfy in the sofa watching a film.

troppibambini · 24/10/2019 18:10

Mmm zingy (got the name wrong) chicken was good like Thai.
Big hit with dh too.
I don't work for chubby cubs by the wayGrin

Hope everyone's had a good day.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 24/10/2019 19:31

Totally went off rails today.

Breakfast 2 x slices of large wm toas (2 heb) 1 syn worth of butter and 1 worth of jam.

Lunch was malteaser cheesecake (10 million syns) and a semi skim large latte (2 hea)

Tea quorn nuggets (3 syns), salad, carrots and bbq beans..

Then

2 packs of crisps
Skittles (little bag)
1/2 Large bar of lindt white
Dates
Twix (mini)

TigerJoy · 24/10/2019 20:02

@fivenightsatmummys haha that sounds like a good day! Although you still showed some restraint - i would have had a main course before the cheesecake and only 1 syn of butter on 2 pieces of toast...?!

I do think we can learn better habits on this diet. The fact that I spent a month feeling like i was stuffing my face and didn't put on any weight is a testament to that

As i didn't have to cook dinner tonight i made my favourite cake - blackbean chocolate (google it - recipe from a tasty love story). I've worked out it's only 3.5 syns per slice!

Having at least one piece tonight

@troppibambini ah those pesky kids and their tasty shortbread! Thanks for the chubby cubs recommendation, they have some good looking recipes on there.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/10/2019 22:46

Well you said you wanted to gain @FiveNightsAtMummys

Shortbread. Drools. Love that. Even more with caramel and chocolates

I’m hoping for a loss tom at wi

Apart from the drinks for dh memorial birthday I’ve been good

OP posts:
FiveNightsAtMummys · 24/10/2019 22:51

Tiger it wasn't butter sorry it was olive spread...light! So 2 tsps. I just call it that!
I should definitely be gaining as I'm off plan all day tomorrow so won't post what I've eaten! Going to be good sat sun and mon as I don't want a massive gain, esp as kids break up so I find it harder when there off and we usually end up in mcdonalds and toby carvery at least!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/10/2019 23:29

Oh do post. So we can drool 😂😂

OP posts:
runlift · 24/10/2019 23:55

Special k large bowl latte
Frittata with roast pot and veg
Chicken with potatoes
Snack -3 pieces chocolate. Duck pancake. Whoops not great!

TigerJoy · 25/10/2019 07:43

@five yes do post anyway! And fair enough on the spread, I bloody love butter and would rather my syns went on that first, even before chocolate! Fingers crossed you get the gain you want

@blondes I'm sure you will, one night boozing shouldn't have a big impact - it's the 21 meals
