@troppibambini ah Lecce, wonderful!

Sorry to hear about your eldest, that is terrible. It's so hard to see the ones you love hurt. I hope the littlest one has had a brilliant day

@blondeshavemorefun I bought white bread and had it with butter. I bought it when I was feeling poorly for comfort food, I shouldn't eat it, but it's all gone now.

B - 2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast (7 syns)
L - homemade chicken noodle soup (all free)
D - tagliatelle with bolognese (hea for parmesan)
S - 2 hifi, 1 orange club (6 syn), 1 twix finger (5 syn), some fevertree tonic water (2 syns). Can't promise I won't eat more chocolate, I've got another bloody cold

troppibambini · 13/10/2019 19:51

Looks good blondes I'm back on it 100% tomorrow!
We are a bit of an unusual blended family so I have
J (26) step daughter from arsehole ex
J (22) stepson from arsehole ex
M(14) daughter from arsehole ex
We don't see arsehole ex anymore and my step kids are now a massive part of my new family as their mum died when they were young and did I mention ex is an arsehole?Grin
I also have
S-(9) with dh
L(6) with dh
R(5) with dh
Dh has also been ace and massively accepted dsd and dss into our family and they are here quite a bit and I think of them as my own.
The younger kids call them their special sister and special brother as they aren't actually related.
So in totally there are six (plus eldest son who is 3) it's noisy and manic but lots of funGrin

Anyway after that massive over share I will toddle off and try to meal plan for next week.....Grin

troppibambini · 13/10/2019 19:58

@tigerjoy it's really good that you know how many syns you have had though... I tend to give up when I get to 15Blush

TigerJoy · 13/10/2019 20:03

@troppibambini that sounds like a really wonderful, loving family you have created - well done. Your dh sounds ace as well. I am one of 4 and my sister has 4 and I can see it's hard work and bonkers for the parents but it's amazing for the kids. I can see why you chose your user name! 🤣🤣🤣

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/10/2019 20:44

Sounds a lovely set up and nice you think of them
As yours and dh

Tho the ex sound a twunt

OP posts:
troppibambini · 13/10/2019 21:02

@TigerJoy 🤣🤣🤣🤣 yep it seemed appropriate!!
@Blondeshavemorefun thank you yep he's a complete twunt and we are all much better off without him.

I'm going to make a big batch of soup tomorrow need to focus again just had a look at some bday pictures from today and there are far too many chins.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 14/10/2019 10:22

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/10/2019 15:29

  • soon go

@Blondeshavemorefun what kind of dogs? I'm a dog lover ours is nearly 14 nowSad

troppibambini · 14/10/2019 17:30

@TigerJoy I love roasted cauliflower it completely changes the taste, it really nice with a bit of tikka paste too.
My mum makes the most amazing deep fried cauliflower in batter (I'm sure you will have tried this with an Italian husband!) it's amazing but not very slimming world friendly Grin

TigerJoy · 14/10/2019 18:52

@troppibambini yes I've had that and it's amazing! But no, not so good for sw... i have found lots of my husband's family / local recipes are ok but just with much less oil (although his mum is probably turning in her grave as I cook them). Lots of pasta and veg dishes like pasta and peas, pasta and squash etc

@blondeshavemorefun yes please tell us more about the dog!

I'm sure the 4lb is partly water weight but I did have a fairly massive portion of pasta last night...being a bit better today.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/10/2019 20:35

He’s my step sons dog. A boxer. Gorgeous

Was 8w ish when came to live with us

What a beauty!

I'm going to try making chocolate porridge for breakfast as I am craving all things chocolatey.

Although my homemade bolognese was syn free it's made me feel really heavy and bloated. Might leave the pasta bake to DH and just have soup tonight.

TigerJoy · 15/10/2019 14:02

B - 40g oats, 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp honey, almond milk (2 syn). Was a bit strange!

L - chicken soup (6 syn as it was yorkshire provender but this is taking the piss as it's only 300cal)

D - pasta bake (hea)

I lost all 4 mythical pounds this morning!

Just planning how much chocolate I can eat and stay within syns today

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/10/2019 15:16

troppibambini · 16/10/2019 11:47

@blondeshavemorefun he is so handsome!!!
@tigerjoy sometimes it just has to be done.

I weighed this morning and had gained 1.5lbs which I'm quite relieved at after two weeks totally of plan and eating ALL the chocolate.
I'm feeling a bit more motivated and back on it, we are taking the 9 and 14 year old away for the 9 year olds birthday this weekend.
It's going to be tricky being good but will try my best!
We are going to London and Harry Potter world I'm so excited GrinGrin

Breakfast was porridge made with skimmed milk I added a chopped up persimmon
Lunch was salmon with salad
Tonight I had a baseless pizza! Tomatoes onions ham and mushrooms cooked on a plate with melted cheese - then I had a nectarine
Syns so far were some sweet chilli dressing with my salad

TigerJoy · 16/10/2019 21:16

@troppibambini...another birthday! Harry Potter sounds great though!

@janelancs that sounds like a great day. Have you tried Nigella's meatzza? It's like pizza with minced beef as the base. Really tasty

B - sweet omelette - 2 eggs beaten with cinnamon, fried, topped with 1 tsp sugar (1 syn)

L - M&S pea and ham soup. I refuse to count the syns, it was 400 cals, and I'm too sick to cook

D - last day of bloody synfree pasta bake, with salad, 1 syn for oil

S - nectarine, mango, so far 3 M&S extremely chocolatey orange biscuits at 6.5 syns. I can't guarantee I won't have more

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/10/2019 21:24

Tea wasn’t as planned

Dare I ask how many syns a coop batter mix is?

troppibambini · 17/10/2019 14:28

Yep another one @tigerJoy Grin

B-banana and yogurt
L-ww wrap with ham and cucumber packet of tangy tom crisps(4) and a hifi (3)
D- not sure yet I have some left over curry and dhal will probably have that.

I've eaten more than I usually do in the day today as I've just been to give blood and I'm a bit of a fainter!! I'm guessing a bag of blood must weigh at least a poundGrinGrin

TigerJoy · 17/10/2019 14:37

@troppibambini lucky you! I hope you all had a great time. And if you've given blood you need to eat

B - porridge with honey (1syn)

L - baked potato, beans, cheese, rosemary linda mccartney veggie sausages (4 syns for butter). It was amazing! 3 M&S biscuits (18 syns!!!!)

D - undecided but might try the aldi curries we have in the freezer - chicken tikka and sweet potato. DH wants pizza

Got kicked off the SW app as I haven't been to meetings for ages. Does everyone else here still go for weigh ins??
