I'm fine! Shaken not stirred.

B - mango and yoghurt
L - roast beef, baked potato, butter (2 syns), runner beans, gravy and horseradish sauce
D - pasta with broccoli (3 syns for oil)

I am having leftovers from last night for my lunch today and worried it looked like too much - so counted the calories and the food will come to about 1050 calories in total! Even if I've got my weights of meat and potato wrong, there's a lot of wriggle room there.

Put on a pound thanks to the cakes yesterday, need to get back on it today. Only sugar is going to be my 2 hifi bars in the afternoon

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/10/2019 14:11

Oh @TigerJoy. Hope ur ok. Sorry I missed your original message

B bagel b marmite butter 2 fruit

L chicken salad

T sw spag Bol and cheese a

Fallen off the wagon again, massively. Not looking forward to weighing on Thursday. Gorged on chocolates, white bread, peanut butter. I feel utterly, utterly PANTS. Why oh why can't I stick to this damn plan?
I feel so resentful of my life at the moment, all I seem to do is work and run around after my family. I do get time to do my own stuff, but I seem to have permanent belly ache and a foggy head.
Sorry for the rant. I'll get back in my box now!

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/10/2019 16:50

If it makes you feel any better I haven’t got back on the wagon lol

Got in from work at 7:30 this morning, took DD to school. Was hungry when I got back, and just wanted comfort hence white toast and peanut butter. Then went to sleep.
But for dinner I've had salad and falafel burgers with a bit of sour cream, which is an improvement I suppose.
I'm ok when I'm on day shift, but my resistance is so low on nights, and doing four in a row this set of shifts hasn't helped.
Oh well. Might as well have a glass of wine now Grin

TigerJoy · 08/10/2019 20:17

@dexter that doesn't sound so bad. It's really hard when you're tired and working hard

I would do an SP week but I'm finding it so hard to maintain even basic SW I'm not sure it's worth trying

Had a Ferrero rocher and 5 pieces of melba toast with butter

Having dinner now after an epic blow up row with DH. We are eating in silence. I've pointed out these always seem to happen just as I'm about to ovulate. He's saying he can't take anymore and I'm wondering how we would ever cope with a child if we can't even get through TTC. Just want to eat chocolate now.

Will have a nice hot bath after dinner and pray for a better tomorrow.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 09/10/2019 09:07

@TigerJoy hope things are better this morning for you. I can only imagine what you must be going through. I've got everything crossed for you

TigerJoy · 09/10/2019 10:48

Thanks so much @dexterslockedintheshedagain

That's the problem with diets / eating plans - you have all these great plans but when things in your life go to sh** it's really hard to have the time and energy to stick with it. However I think even following it vaguely is helpful. I've not completely fallen off the wagon and I've dropped 2 of the pounds I put on at the weekend already.

It's been a hellish month and hopefully things will pick up soon. All made up with DH - it looks like I out-argued an Italian, which might be a record! Grin

B - porridge made with oats, almond milk, 1 tsp sugar (2 syns) and cinnamon
L - spicy lentil soup from M&S, which i have just discovered is 6 syns (ffs)
D - out, probably will go for vietnamese noodles
S - 2 hifi, who knows on the cake?

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/10/2019 18:57

@TigerJoy 💐💐

Trust me the stress of ttc and infertility totally out weighs the stress of being a mum and dad

Sure you will make fab parents one day

Think you said you will be having ivf?

I’ve eaten apples today

And a load did crap that I’m not going to say

But yah for apples

OP posts:
TigerJoy · 10/10/2019 08:00

@blondeshavemorefun don't know yet about ivf but we've been referred to fertility clinic as we've been trying for a bit and I am ancient (41)

That is SO good to hear, thanks!

I had good meals yesterday but then I went to the co-op on the way home and had 4 pieces of buttery toast, 4 orange clubs and a quarter of a white chocolate and strawberry cake over the evening.

Well done on the apples!

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 10/10/2019 08:56

Weigh day tonight, but back on it from this morning. Definitely be a gain, but at least I know why.

Branflakes, milk and black coffee for breakfast! I think I have a branflake stuck at the back of my nose Hmm

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/10/2019 10:22

I was almost 43 when got preg by ivf and almost 44 when dd was born

Don’t give up hope 💐

@dexter well done!!! I still haven't had the balls to go weigh in. Must next week no matter what

@blondes thanks, that makes me feel better xxx

@jane that dinner sounds yummy

I'm going to make lentil and broccoli soup for lunch - I know this polarised opinions on here before! Going to add some kale as well

Dinner with be pasta with cauliflower - southern italian recipe where it all cooks in one pot down to a bit tasty mush, i can make it with very little oil though

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 11/10/2019 19:58

Lentil & broccoli soup @TigerJoy? I'm not standing downwind of you! Wink

TigerJoy · 11/10/2019 21:06

Hahaha luckily DH is used to it... 🤣

Guys I have had the BEST day. I had to deal with some of the nasty crime stuff but now I have a solicitor involved and hopefully eventually I'll get my money back.

And I have been REALLY good

Dinner was roast chicken (no skin), baked potato with 4 syn butter, steamed carrots and sweetheart cabbage, homemade gravy. Totally delicious and comforting.

For snacks I had 3 chicken drumsticks, 2 hifi, 1 alcohol free cider (5 syns) and 1 alcohol free beer (5 syns)

So 1 over on the syns but tasty food and I feel really satisfied. This diet is possible!

troppibambini · 12/10/2019 10:11

Helllooo!!
Not been on for ages just been catching up.
@tigerjoy it sounds like you've been having an utterly shit time CakeWinefrom me virtual syns don't count. I'm from an Italian family and we are absolute fuckers for an argument so well doneGrinGrin

I've not done too badly, but could have been better

L - neapolitan pizza with chorizo (no idea of syns- 15?)
D - spaghetti all'olio (oil 3 syns, garlic, chilli), 1 apple

S - 1 cappucino (HEA), 2 hifi

But no booze and no chocolate, and we listened to traditional Neapolitan songs during dinner and ended up dancing together round the sitting room after :)

troppibambini · 13/10/2019 07:53

Aah @TigerJoy that sounds like a lovely evening!! We're from the south too just near Lecce.

@Blondeshavemorefun that looks good a lot better than me!!

Been awake since 6 it's smallest child's 5th birthday today so he is beyond excited!

Awful news from the eldest yesterday her partner and father of her child has been unfaithful Sad
She's gutted I feel sick for her. He took this girl back to their house as well and in their bed.
Why are some people just so vile?
