Wondered if wouid help us all to have a thread where we wrote what we eat each day

To give other new ideas options etc

B toast b - scrambled egg beans spinach ham
L chicken salad and mayo light 1
T potato bacon onion bake - sw mince and veg and salad

Haha @dexter ! There are quite of a lot naturally vegan pasta dishes, but I'd not manage without meat. That curry sounds delicious though.

I'm ill and have kept on working and have just been shovelling loads of food in my mouth to keep going. Yesterday I had soup THEN 4 rounds of baguette provided as a sandwich lunch which I had eaten the soup to avoid. Weight piling on but just need to get through today and then I can collapse / rest

I really went for it last night. Had some really bad news and just didn't care - a whole bottle of wine, goodness knows how many mini rolls and roll snacks ( much to my DDs disgust, none left for her 🤷‍♀️) and that's just what can remember.
Been to the gym today tho, so pulling it back.
No breakfast, but jacket potato, cheeses &beans (no butter) for lunch.

I'm sorry @dexter. That's really shit. Sometimes we just need to get through the day.

I'm really struggling at work, still ill and my motivation for eating well is in the toilet. To be honest I am a hair away from going to the GP and getting signed off with stress.

ANYWAY i will be back on it this evening. Got some slow cooked duck from m&s for dinner to have with actifry chips and microwave green veg selection. Not the most obvious of flavour combos but I realised there wasn't enough time to cook the roast chicken i wanted before DH has to leave for his night shift

It's a marathon not a sprint

@TigerJoy please don't struggle too hard at work. I did that - ended up going to lunch and not going back for three months! Nobody thanks you for ploughing on, and if it's anything like my place, they'll replace you in a heartbeat. Your Mental Health is more important. Eating, and everything else, will follow on. Life is simply too precious.

My workplace is pretty great, I'm not sure why I pushed on through. I'm staying home for the rest of the week, not even sure if I'll call it sick leave, I'm so fed up. Having some gin tonight, back on the wagon tomorrow, will just do what I feel like for a few days.

Food wise, I've been good since Tuesday but very down moodwise. Surely there has to be more to life than trying to lose weight?
And to add insult to injury, my (getting on a bit) old lady dog seems to have lost control of her bowels-woke up this morning to the most horrendous smell, and both dogs caked in poop.

Weighing tonight. Anything could happen. Not sure if I should bother, but I missed last week.

Oh no! A poocalypse. On top of everything else. You poor thing - and your poor dog. She might just have a poorly tummy - I came downstairs once to find poop everywhere - everywhere - and it was an isolated event. Thank god.

Just keep going! I'm really not doing well and haven't for weeks, but I'm doing better than I was before I started, if that makes sense. You'll get there in the end.

Everyone breaks your heart a little more, let alone the mental emotional physical and in our case financial aspects

Have you had an era? If not then I do advise if you decide to have another go to have an era

Amazingly the 5th worked and I became a mummy

But took 10yrs ttc and £27k to get that one magical bfp

What's an era? I've not understood much about what goes on with the infertility boards - it's mostly acronyms...I saw an acupuncturist today for the first time to help with the fertility and my chronic pain. It went well, I certainly feel a lot calmer!

@dexterslockedintheshedagain Sorry can't say what I had to deal with as it involves CRIME and is massively outing. I put on my big girls pants and dealt with it. I've not much experience of dealing with criminals though, so it was a bit scary. Still requires some sorting with police. Hence the cake today.

B - M&S no fat greek yoghurt with rhubarb
L - M&S cod mornay with extra green veg (300 calories)
D - baked potato, fresh veg, some source of protein I haven't yet bought (fish, or a joint of beef probably)

S - 2 MASSIVE homemade cupcakes covered with huge amounts of buttercream plus a cadbury flake. 1,000 syns.

@TigerJoy an era is a mock cycle where on a certain day you have a scrape /biopsy of lining taken. Like a smear or fet

They test this to see if the lining needs more progynova /progesterone and if the lining shows the right day

Mine shows I needed more /longer and wasn’t ready day 19/20 of fet
