A rogan josh (tomoato based so similar?) is 8 syns for the full portion
Lentil dahl is 5.5
Poppadom is 4 (takeaway ones more than supermarket bought)

Not too bad at all in the grand scheme of things! Sometimes you just need to do it, hope you're feeling betterThanks

troppibambini · 11/09/2019 10:46

I've been really good since I got back from holiday, until tonight. I've gorged myself on branflakes and milk so it's not that bad I suppose, but even so. Otherwise I've kept to my allowances.
Weigh in tomorrow night so fingers crossed.
But i do feel a lot less bloated. Been doing a lot of dog walking, and had a horse riding lesson today - my legs are going to hurt in the morning! It was hard work, but I love it

TigerJoy · 11/09/2019 20:31

I'm sorry @blondes, i hope your dad is ok and you get a reasonable dinner

@dexters that doesn't sound too bad! Well done on all the exercise

troppibambini · 11/09/2019 20:42

Thank you everyone I must admit I'm pretty chuffedGrin

Blondes I hope your dad is feeling better.
Dexter that doesn't sound too bad, At least it wasn't a big bar of chocolate or three

L- omelette with ham and tomato
D-chilli rice and Salad

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 12/09/2019 08:50

@Blondeshavemorefun how is your Dad today? Hope he's ok

TigerJoy · 12/09/2019 11:10

B - nectarines, blueberries, ff greek yog

L - prawns, chilli, garlic with rice, tomatoes, cucumber raita (1.5 syns)

D - Going to Pho. All their food is calorie counted, and everything I'll be eating is mostly speed or free (prawns, rice noodles, veg). So do you think if I just count syns for the fat I'll get it right? Prawn summer rolls 0.8g fat, peanut sauce 5g fat, prawn spicy pho 5.1g fat = 3 syns? What do you think?

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/09/2019 14:49

Tea was half a bar of aero chocolate 😳😳

Dad is ok. Bit sore but now on antib infection getting better

B toast butter 2 marmite fruit

L chicken salad mayo 1

T salamon rice and veg

S crisps 6 fruit ff yog

So far -

Scrambled eggs and ham on whole meal toast

Tiny boiled potatoes with grated cheese, tomatoes and low fat hummus

Watermelon and cottage cheese as a snack

troppibambini · 13/09/2019 12:33

I've been to Tesco this morning so thought I would share my two finds!! To be fair the meringues I've had before and are delicious!
Merengues are 5.5 syns
Chocolate is 6 squares for 5 syns or 20 syns for the bar, it's big but thin.

Daily menu - please come and write what you eat
troppibambini · 13/09/2019 12:34

Apple for speedGrin only kidding just to show how big they are.
I also spelt meringue wrongBlush

TigerJoy · 13/09/2019 22:23

I've had a good couple of days

B - cherries, almond milk smoothie
L - seafood pasta in a tomato sauce (maybe 2 syns for oil, I was in a restaurant), chinotto (2.5 syns)
D - pasta with broccoli (more broccoli than pasta), sw sausages with garlic and chilli oil (5 syns for oil)

snacks - 2 x hifi (HEB), almond milk latte (HEA), muller light (0.5 syns)

I don't get the fuss about muller lights, it was really not that great.

I have a meal out every day for the next 3 days too - hoping to keep making good choices.

Lemonysherbet · 13/09/2019 22:25

Jumping on here as I've recently lost all motivation and feel like you lovely lot could inspire me with fresh ideas 😁

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 14/09/2019 13:22

I managed to lose 1lb on weigh day! Was hoping for more but I'll take that.
Made a fool of myself (again) yesterday with bran flakes, but otherwise have been good.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 14/09/2019 13:23

@TigerJoy what flavour yoghurt was it? I've just had a Victoria sponge one and it was quite nice.

TigerJoy · 14/09/2019 21:13

Toffee. Merely acceptable. I have danone light and free peach and passionfruit greek style yoghurts for pudding this evening so will feed back on them later!

B- wholemeal roll (HEB) bacon egg mushrooms (2 syn for butter)
L- pint cider, half pack of crisps, cake, 2 sugars in coffee (est 23 syns)
D - boiled cod, steamed kale, sweetcorn and sugar snap

I went for an all day walk with a friend (18km!) Which I THOUGHT involved a pub lunch but we arrived after food service had stopped so I had a pint and shared a pack of crisps with him then we went to a coffee shop for cake (his idea, nothing else open for food, nothing else on sale). Thank god for the fry up this morning.

DH wanted to get pizza tonight as I got home so late, I insisted on popping to the Coop for food. Whole thing took 8 minutes to cook, quicker cheaper and tastier than a take away anyway. All free! And hopefully made up for "lunch"!

TigerJoy · 14/09/2019 21:37

Argh 34 syns today according to app!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/09/2019 12:16

Looking forward to seeing you when you oomph is back, @blondes

B - blueberries, yoghurt
L - minestrone (1 syn, 1 hea for parmesan). Nigella recipe (with 1 tbsp of oil not 8!) Which takes about 3 hrs to cook but was bloody lush

S - 2 hifi, 1 boiled eggs

Dinner is my birthday dinner with DH. Going for chinese - will have boiled rice and avoid the crispy duck but otherwise I'm going to have what i like. Salt and pepper squid definitely! So probably another million syns but I'm pretty pleased with the rest of the day, and we have leftover minestrone for dinner tomorrow

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/09/2019 18:03

Happy birthday @TigerJoy 💐🍸
