Day 3.

B - skinny Starbucks cappuccino HEA
L - pitta HEB, with salad and ham. Tin of Heinz tomato soup (been craving that for ages) 4
D - Diet Coke chicken and some basmati rice 1
S - 20g mini mature cheese 2nd HEA.

Still can't get my head around I can eat this and lose weight! My downfall is alcohol so trying to abstain completely from that whilst I hopefully see the scales go down.

supercee · 30/08/2019 21:43

@dexterslockedintheshedagain if you bite it write it 😂 love that.

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/08/2019 21:50

Sorry me again. What does the Syn value 2019 book look like ?

Might see if I can find one cheap on eBay

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/08/2019 21:51

Well done @supercee

Are Starbucks an a choice now - what is a chai latte please

OP posts:
supercee · 30/08/2019 22:00

@Blondeshavemorefun According to online for a tall skinny chai tea latte it's 7.5. Surely it would be an A choice? I've never had a chai latte. The tall drinks are 354ml.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/08/2019 00:00

Guess you could take off 6 syns for an a - so be 1.5?

OP posts:
dexterslockedintheshedagain · 31/08/2019 08:56

Sorry @Blondeshavemorefun the SW website doesn't appear to have a photo of that book Sad

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/08/2019 09:14

That’s what I thought. I have food directory of 2016 lol

And see 2017 on eBay

Today's plan is :

B - granola (heb), greek yogurt & blueberries.
L - egg mayo (1) salad sandwich (2nd heb)
T- quorn nuggets (3) , bbq beans & half a jacket.

Evening I have am oppo cheesecake (8) and strawberries.

Might go out for a coffee too so will count that as my 2nd hea. I'm a target member so get extra hex if I want.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 31/08/2019 10:34

Not an online member, no. I go weekly-ish, but I work shifts (12hrs) so can't always do the same day of the week

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 31/08/2019 10:38

I've sent my consultant a text asking her if they've done one for this year

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 31/08/2019 10:58

@Blondeshavemorefun just heard back. No directory made for 2019

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/08/2019 13:18

Thanks @dexterslockedintheshedagain

So how do you check stuff as a weekly member. Or is it all done online now and no book

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 31/08/2019 13:25

Everything is online, apart from what's in the members hand book

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/08/2019 14:00

Wonder why thy changed it and no book anymore

Guess lots of wasted paper every year when things change

Or to stop people like me who don’t join

OP posts:
dexterslockedintheshedagain · 31/08/2019 16:54

I'm guessing it's to stop people going it alone! The scoundrels Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/08/2019 17:42

I know. What a rebel I am 😂😂😂

Just weird as I can find 2005/2018 directories on eBay

I am a member and can look up syns.

All coffee shop lattes / cappucinos seem to be synned and quite heavily, which I don't understand. Surely they can be your HEA? I don't understand the reasoning.

I generally have almond / coconut milk and I think the "professional" versions are sweetened but still...

Hmmmbop · 31/08/2019 20:18

TigerJoy take 6 syns off if using as your hex a. The issue is they don't do one which is exactly the size of an a choice, do they have to be synned on the app.

TigerJoy · 31/08/2019 20:52

Aha! Finally it makes sense. Thanks so much - it seems a fairly harmless treat (compared to other things!)

It was my brother's wedding today. I made good choices for lunch mackerel pate, tuna steak with pak choi and chick peas, chocolate cake. 1 piece of white bread with butter which is what I miss the most! No booze just elderflower.

Party finished late afternoon so I'm home and made a quick green veg stir fry to have with leftover salmon. An example of a healthier choice I wouldn't have made before!

MumInTheCity · 31/08/2019 21:01

Feeling much better today, still don’t have a huge appetite but managed a couple of small meals

B - none
L - 2 ryvitas (half HEB) with a tiny scraping of low fat spread
D - plain pasta with sweetcorn
S - half a mango, hifi bar (half HEB)

Tried to stick to plain foods, didn’t want to risk being ill again.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 31/08/2019 21:49

Had a good day again today. Kept busy dog walking, gardening, gym and cleaning. 2nd day on plan:

B - 45g branflakes, 200ml whole milk, black coffee
S - Diet Coke
L - Stilton ploughman’s (with no bread) 5 syns
S - Diet Coke
D - chicken curry with reduced fat coconut milk 1.5 syns, fruit, f/f Greek yoghurt, 2 meringue nests 5 syns

MumInTheCity · 01/09/2019 12:11

Feel totally back to normal today, so just enjoyed a lovely brunch, sausages were 0.5 syns each (Tesco vegetarian Lincolnshire sausages), everything else was free.

Daily menu - please come and write what you eat
supercee · 01/09/2019 13:14

@MumInTheCity I am literally cooking that exact same meal as we speak! Except I'm having 2 sausages and toast (HexB). Might chuck on some baked beans too and that'll do me until lunchtime.
