@twinkledag I admit I do at home without classes as I work different times so can’t make same class and time

Anything I’m not sure I google or ask this lovely lot

But seems pretty much the same when I did it years ago tho muller lights aren’t free

dancemom · 13/08/2019 09:05

For stirfry I usually marinade my chicken in Chinese five spice then flash fry it in fry light.
I add some soy sauce, sometimes a small amount of stock and lots of veg.

Nando's pittas aren't a b choice. I think I'll stick with their salads. Does anyone know how many syns are in their green and grain salad?

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/08/2019 09:05

Oh and my chips. Admit they were ok but not sure why as rave about them

And Nando's chicken in pitta is actually 18 syns!

MumInTheCity · 13/08/2019 13:00

Nando’s butterfly chicken breast is 3 syns, and a portion of their spicy rice is 2.5, that’s what I always have when I go, plus either a side salad or a corn on the cob.

Did pretty well yesterday, WI tomorrow morning so definitely going to be good today! Yesterday I had:

B - 2 choc weetabix (HEB) with Milk (HEA) and strawberries

L - leftover beef and roast potatoes with salad and light mayo (1)

D - tuna pasta bake with cheese (HEA)

S - fibre one bar (4), hifi bar (3) and haribo (2.5)

Ofpalestsilver · 13/08/2019 13:02

Hey all!

Breakfast today was a banana and coffee. Lunch is a ginormous bowl of mixed bean salad with capers, cucumber, santini tomatoes, ham and white wine vinegar. All very yum!

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/08/2019 14:15

@dancemom I have found this the easiest diet to stick to! And I feel like I have tried them all... takes a bit of getting used to but once you're in the groove.

I always have fruit and yoghurt or bacon and eggs for breakfast and save my HEB for 2 hifi as I always need a midafternoon snack

Today was a baked potato with chicken salad vinaigrette 2.5 syns (grrr) and butter 2 syns

Dinner was aldi cod lightly dusted in flour which was 7.5 syns!!!!!!! I wish I'd checked before I bought it. But it was nice - with mashed potato (butter 3 syns), steamed broccoli, runner beans and courgette.

All my syns now used up I think I will get an early night!

twinkledag · 13/08/2019 23:28

I messed up today as went out for lunch. Hard when on holidays but then I find it hard when at work so I think it's just me 😆

Will start again tomorrow even though am away now for a few days and food is harder to control,

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2019 00:12

What did you have @twinkledag and tomorow well today is a new day :)

@TigerJoy I agree. Don’t like using my b for breakie but often do

The frittera I made was nice and filling and easy to heat up

The sweet cous cous filling as well and feels like a b

Tho love a fry up and weekends is good time wise

@blondeshavemorefun I missed your request for a stir fry recipe

I usually peel then grate a big chunk of ginger (about the size of your thumb), 2 cloves of garlic and chop a small chilli. Stir fry chicken, bung in the above in the last minute or two of cooking. Remove chicken, stir fry veg for 4 mins, put chicken back in pan with noodles /rice, a tin of sweetcorn, and stir fry with about a teaspoon of sesame oil. How was yours?

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2019 08:30

@TigerJoy yours sounds lovely. Mine was nice but very basic

Cooked chicken. Put aside. Added bag of stir fry veg. Cooked. Added the cooked noodles 5syns as didn’t have any dried Added chicken and soy sauce and stirred

I didn’t even think of sweetcorn and bloody love it

Also a lot of dark green cabbage in packet and bit sour. Might next time chop my own cabbage carrots onions and add BEan sprouts

But was nice. Filling and have spare portion that I will prob have tomorow before night shift at work

@twinkledag - it's not on the app but the version they serve in Starbucks itself is between 2.5 and 5 syns depending on size. Hope that's helpful!

TigerJoy · 14/08/2019 11:03

@blondeshavemorefun I add in extra mushrooms as well - I agree the packs often don't have a good balance of veg.

I'm glad it worked and it's good to have good leftovers

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2019 11:29

The only thing I hate is mushrooms

B friterea and beans and apple

L pesto 3 pasta and veg

T bacon potato onion bake - and prob with rosemary and onion sausage and fried eggs

Pissing down here. Was meant to be a fun day out but going to friends instead for indoor picnic with kids and she always has cakes

I’ve being prepared and taking chopped Melon cucumber peppers banana and apple

I will not eat cake !!!!

TigerJoy · 14/08/2019 20:35

Ha, sorry @blondeshavemorefun!

Feeling gutted at weigh in that I only lost a pound

Usual for breakfast, lunch was leftover pasta bake.

Made carbonara with mushroom, bacon medallions, egg, parmesan (which I should probably syn due to lunch) and tricolour pasta. Was only moderately successful.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2019 20:43

@TigerJoy it’s a loss

R.E.M. 1 lb a week is 4stone in a year

@WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa why was the sweet potato syns?

I was good today. Didn’t eat brownies cakes biscuits or crisps

I ate my melon cucumber and apple

TigerJoy · 14/08/2019 21:16
