I always enjoy these as it gives me new ideas.

So today I have had
Breakfast- Skyr yogurt with raspberries and blueberries, Dorset cereals sugar free muesli (Hex)
Lunch- jacket potato with homemade coleslaw and salad.
Tea- ‘pizza topped’ chicken with sweet potato ‘chips’ and more salad with free French dressing. (Hex cheese)
Snack- carrot sticks and a salt and vinegar rice cake. (1.5s)
I will have a couple of glasses of wine later.

I haven’t tried ww but I find that, as long as I organise myself, I am not really hungry.
Often what I want to eat isn’t what I should eat to loose weight but that’s the same with anything.
I eat a lot of carbs but balance them with lots of veg and fruit too. I don’t think that I wouldn’t stick to it if I had to be hungry at all.

I’m choosing to be this week because I’m pissed off with last weeks weigh in and am desperate for a big loss this week. Which isn’t how you’re ‘meant’ to do it.

Today I ate:

B- porridge and raspberries
L- jacket potato with salad
D- scrambled egg on a toasted thin.
S- two satsumas and some pineapple

Today has been, not great but not the worst either.

Had to get the train to work and they were giving out “porridge to go” bars. Basically a flapjack but it was nice! 10.5 syns though

Then about 11 I had 2 weetabix and milk for my healthy extras.

Then roasted veg, quinoa and chicken

2 time outs and some grapes.

Dinner will be homemade chickpea masala with fried ginger and garlic spinach and baked broccoli with a a few spices. Curry has a tsp of butter but makes 3 portions so I’m not going to syn it. Ending about 5 syns over so not the worst.

I cycled to the station and went down a walk at lunch. Contemplating a run after work but not 100% convinced myself yet!

Jumping in here
Breakfast raspberries blueberries strawberries, Skyr yoghurt and 35g Kellogg granola . More fruit with coffee at 12 . Lunch was turkey burger ( 100 per turkey) ( no bun ) with a massive speed salad . Snack more yoghurt . Dinner - jacket potatoes with my cheese allowance and baked beans . Genuinely can’t fave more fruit or salad today .
Oh I had a freddo too .

I don’t think 5 over is too bad considering that.

B- overnight oats with berries
L- was on a course so tried to make the best choices from a buffet. Ended up with jacket potato with quinoa salad and a bit of tuna. Small amount of cheese. Shame that there was no salad without the added carbs.
Handful of toffee popcorn.
T- left over tandoori chicken with salad and sw chips.
Then it all went a bit wrong and I ate a chocolate brownie. It was a gift from a colleague that I intended to take home and give to ds but then I had a bit in the car and before I knew it, the whole thing was gone! Shock

@mrsgandy, I had a JP and both lots of healthy extra cheese the other day! Was heaven.

@winky well done on the buffet choices, it’s easy to beat ourselves up about the “bad things” we eat but so easy to forget about all the good choices we make. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Also, who can resist a good homemade brownie!!

Today’s plan is -

Skyr and granola. I made the granola but have been having 30g and lost 5.5lbs last week and don’t want it to go to waste, so will carry on using it as my unofficial healthy extra B.

Lunch - still got a tub of quinoa, chicken and roasted veg left. Sick of looking at it actually! Next time I won’t make so much!
Have some leaves to go with it. An apple and some grapes as a snack.

Dinner is going to be bacon, egg and homemade chips. Should probably make some vanity mushrooms and tomatoes but I’m not keen on them cooked.

Your dinner inspired me. I just had bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms and tomatoes. With a massive mug of tea. It was very nice.

Breakfast was muesli again but I bought the Aldi one and it is bloody horrid. I will be going back to Alpen or Dorset cereals sugar free ones.

Lunch- jacket with salad and cheese.
2 satsumas and a chocolate truffle (3syns) so far today.
Sure I will find something for the other syns later.

You have just inspired me to have sw chips eggs bacon tomatoe and mushroom for dinner tonight . Was wondering what I could have .
Dithering the Kellogg’s no sugar granola is HEB if no more than 35g . I have every morning as I can’t stomach anything else with lots of berries and skyr yoghurt . I lost 6lb this week . I’m buzzing .

I lost 3 1/2 lbs this week. Celebrated a bit too hard on Tuesday 🤦‍♀️
Back on it since Wednesday am so hopeful for a good week although I’m not feeling hugely motivated this week.

B- porridge and raspberries (I’m so original)
Lunch will be an Egg thin and salad
Dinner- will be tomato chicken with loads of veg but no potatoes or pasta.

Will try not to snack today. Other than on speed fruit. I’ll let you know how I get on.

Forcing myself out for a run in ten minutes Shock I’m dragging myself kicking and screaming through the first week of couch to 5k at the moment. I will beat this...

Well done @Apple on the run, I completed C25K last month, felt incredible and also hard haha!

Couldn't look at the quinoa so had a JP and cheese with a big salad from the work canteen yesterday.

The plan for today is -

B: Porridge and Almond Milk (HexB and half A) - little squeeze of agave syrup - (1)
L: Sainsburys butternut squash risotto (2.5) Got some spinach left from a curry on Tuesday so will stir some of that in and have with some leaves. WFH today so may even eat it in the garden if the sun moves round enough! Will have an apple as well.
D: Jacket Potato, tuna crunch with avocado (4)

Had one of those instant latte sachets as I ran out of milk after making porridge for 3.5 syns.

8 syns left for the day, will see what I fancy later.

I suddenly seem to have gained 3lbs from last night! Shock I don’t know what has happened. I didn’t even use the rest of my syns yesterday Sad
I am hoping that it is just a blip on the scales.

Well done everyone though. There are some brilliant losses from last week there. Smile
So far I have had
Muesli and yogurt with apple and strawberries.
Lunch will probably be ham and egg salad. Not sure what to do for tea yet. I have some chicken breasts and half a tin of chopped tomatoes that need using so maybe something that involves those.
Need to have a think.

I bet that you feel better for doing the run apple
I was doing 30 day shred but DS has been playing me up a bit at bedtime and by the time he is asleep I can’t be arsed to start. I always feel better for doing it though so need to get back into it.
We have a holiday planned for the beginning of August and I would love to be comfortable enough to wear swimwear. Last year I didn’t couldn’t bring myself to do it.

B - Aldi raspberry Greek yogurt (0.5) with grapes
L - Aldi spice infusion cous cous (0.5), roasted veg, feta (HExA), veggie shawarma kebab meat (0.75)
D - Aldi burgers (2.5), salad, Asda pink yogurt coleslaw (4.5), Aldi fruit split (4), strawberries, milk (HExA)
S - plums, banana, egg salad roll (HExB)

Syns - 13

Tea (don't do dinner) two hard boiled eggs, yoghurt.
Snacks, more fruit, Alpen bar,

May I join in too? Mid way through week 3 on SW & trying so hard this time I feel really determined to do it.

B - porridge (HEB), milk (1/2 of HEA) raspberries
L - ham & mushroom omelette & salad, 1 sachet mayonnaise (4 syns)
T - pinch of nom orzo chicken bake with 1/2 plate salad & Sprinkle of cheddar (HEB) followed by melon & strawberries

I’m trying to do 1/2 plate of veg or salad at every meal & making sure my carbs portion is no more than 1/4 of my plate. I love carbs & will easily overeat them but they really bloat me & I don’t get a good weight loss if I eat too many so am being quite strict. I’ve also completely cut snacks.

Still feeling hungry most days but just try to have a drink of water or if desperate some speed fruit or veg. Hoping I see a decent result at next weigh in!

The more the merrier. It’s great to have everyone’s ideas.

So
B- scrambled egg and toast with mushrooms.
L- salad with ham and leftover pasta. 1/2 tablespoon light mayo- 1 syn
T- chicken cooked with red pesto, roast cherry tomatoes and red peppers- 2.5 syns
More salad and roast new potatoes. More mayo-1 syn
1/2 bar dark chocolate -3.5 syn
I am half way down a glass of wine and will almost certainly have more.
It’s been a bit of a crappy day and I am fed up which is no excuse but I’m having a bit of a fuck it day.

I’m hungry today too
B- melon blueberries yoghurt and 35g granola ( 0.5 syn , heb )
Lunch - salad with h ham and cheese allowance
Snack - freddo and strawberries
Dinner - small portion of pasta with leftover dolmio stir in sauce ( 2 syns ) and lots more salad
Dessert - more strawberries and yoghurt .

I have gone to bed hungry though . I seldom do

Happy Saturday all! WI this morning and despite having a bit of a wobble yesterday lost 2lb and got my half stone award!

Food today is not 100% on plan either, going food shopping shortly, currently there is pretty much nothing to eat so breakfast was 2x crumpets, bit of butter and marmite

Lunch was 1/2 chicken from Nando’s, broccoli and rice.

Dinner will be pulled brisket in a bun (I’ll get whole meal) and salad. So not the best but not the worst. Depending on how many gins I have!!

Meal plan done for the week and off to shops as soon as Mr Blidiot has finished ironing his shirts for the week.

After a not so great weekend I've decided I'm doing 777 for 4 days. Today I have had (or will be having)

B: oat pancakes with strawberries and raspberries, and 1 tsp choc shot (0.5 syn and heb )
L: ALDI spice infusion couscous with broccoli, carrots and sweetcorn (1 syn - wanted something quick and easy!)
D: cheese and bacon stuffed jackets with a salad (1 x hea).

I then will have 5.5 Syns for this evening and 1 hea left. I may not have the healthy a (I don't often have 2) but will probably use all the Syns,

I’m struggling today . Considering we had guests yesterday I only went over my syns by 2 . Today though I’m really hungry and have had all my meals already .
The are cream cup cakes calling to me since a friend brought at 11 am . Not had any yet but willpower low . Also walkers crisps .

So had my yoghurt granola and berries
Banana
Small 5 syn bar
Bacon medallion with salad for lunch ( dressing 1 syn)
Half my cheeese allowance
Homemade chicken curry ( syns 3 )
Rice
Grapes

So hard

Hi, I'm doing SW but just at home using an old manual. Today I've eaten:
Raspberries with low fat natural yoghurt (1 syn), and a sprinkling of granola (estimated 2 syns);
Banana
Cuban Beef from Pinch of Nom book with rice
Hi fi bar (3 syns)
Sugar in tea (2 syns)

Will have jacket potato with ham, salad and cheese (HEA) for dinner.

I'm currently weighing in at 10st 11 having lost 6 pounds in the last few weeks. I'd like to get down to 10st 0.
