I'm going to PIl next week and they're doing a Sunday roast. I won't be able to eat their potatoes! Dh and I might take our own food and do our own roast for dinner.

Cherrypi · 25/03/2018 18:42

Argh just had a buffet without one free thing on it! Had some garnish, two brown sandwich triangles and a chicken skewer. No idea how many syns that’ll be. Resisted samosas and cake.

I had a totally off plan day today.Don't know why .Just felt like it.I've had a pizza and a Maltesers bunny and milk lolly and Cadbury nibbles.I will get back on tomorrow 🤗

Testarossa1 · 25/03/2018 20:37

We've been to Alton Towers today. We usually stop and have brekkie at McDonalds. I decide to prepare overnight weetabix for myself which I ate in the car just before we got to MD's. So I wasn't hungry and just had a coffee, my DP had a breakfast there, I worked out it was 31 syns Shock

We went to the woodcutters grill for lunch, I had gammon with pineappłe and a Jacket potato and salad. (I syned the pineapple and mayo)

So not too bad, just had crispbreads, dairylea and cucmber as a snack when we got back.

I also racked up 75 mins of active walking round the park (doesn't include shuffling along queue lines lol!)

Weigh day tomorrow!

MyGuideJools · 25/03/2018 21:14

well, my carvery turned into a pig outBlush
The actual roast was ok, then I had waffles and ice cream. Then DD gave me a box of chocs she didn't like, which I ate most of 🤔
oh well, back on it tomorrow!

Titsywoo · 25/03/2018 22:11

Is it ok to eat chicken thigh - if it is skinless and any fat cut off?

FrozenMargarita17 · 25/03/2018 22:16

Hi @Titsywoo yeah I think so!

boats16 · 25/03/2018 22:16

Yes Titsywoo skinless chicken thighs with fat trimmed are fine 😀

Titsywoo · 25/03/2018 22:36

Phew! I've been substituting breast meat in a chicken dish I make and I just find it too dry! Thanks :)

MyGuideJools · 25/03/2018 22:51

I know rice is free, but what about pudding rice? I've got a bag of flaked rice in the cupboard. was thinking I could make a rice pudding with my milk allowance?

calzone · 25/03/2018 22:54

Basin.....forget those fish cakes. Have you got Morrison’s near you as their fish cakes are amazing for 2 syns and they have cheese sauce in the middle.

So tasty with chips and mushy peas.

Groovee · 26/03/2018 06:11
