FrozenMargarita17 · 18/03/2018 19:59

Does anyone half their healthy extras? So today I had two teas in tiny cups (they're tiny tiny cups that my GPIL have for tea!) and then had half a portion of what would be healthy a cheese. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do it. If I can't I'd be under syns anyway but I wonder if it can be done.

fraggle84 · 18/03/2018 21:05

I sometimes half my healthy extras and it’s fine to do. My consultant uses her B for stewed Apple & raspberries and then syns oats for a crumble

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 18/03/2018 23:17

I always split my healthy extra A.

I have 175ml skimmed milk for a milky coffee, and 20g Lighter cheese for toast or on my dinner, etc.

But I also syn healthy extras if I want, say another coffee or some more cheese on my food. I'd rather syn more healthy extras than syn chocolate or crisps because I have no willpower over them.

FrozenMargarita17 · 18/03/2018 23:28

That's good to know. I've been doing it occasionally. I'll never drink that much milk in one day, but if I have a couple of teas I'll have a bit of cheese on top of my dinner.

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 18/03/2018 23:40

I love a milky coffee but I don't mind adding 3 syns to my daily syn allowance if it means having 40g Lighter cheese. Got to love SW Grin

OwlinaTree · 18/03/2018 23:41

I've started splitting my hexb. I have 20g oats in overnight oats for brekkie and then 2 ryvita when I get home from work as a snack.

Procraftinator · 19/03/2018 07:11

I turn into a mathematician when it comes to divvying up my healthy extras Blush

Groovee · 19/03/2018 07:46

TMI but I have finally 💩! Feeling so much better.

I often split my HE's up.

boats16 · 19/03/2018 08:23

boo1507 · 19/03/2018 09:43

Weigh in today. I sneakypeaked and it looked like a 1lb loss. Fingers crossed.

latedecember1963 · 19/03/2018 10:42

Hope your dad's recovery is going well, Groovee, and that you get your target this week.
I've lost another 2 lbs this morning so I'm aiming for 2 stones by Easter.
Off to the dentist this morning as I've had some discomfort under a crown this weekend. My stomach's churning and I'm in a cold sweat. I have a dread of the dentist even though she is lovely. I keep telling myself to be thankful that I wasn't born in the Middle Ages!

boats16 · 19/03/2018 12:16

Fingers crossed boo and well done latedecember Star

Groovee · 19/03/2018 13:09

Well done @late and good luck @boo

Testarossa1 · 19/03/2018 13:39

Just half a pound off this week. Had a chat with my consultant this week as it's been on my mind that my target was a bit to low, for couple of reasons, I don't want to end up looking like a lollipop, and I think it might be hard to get too, plus maintain it. For me it's about being healthy. I feel much better having lost 1st 3lb, I've dropped a dress size and I would just like to lose a little more and I'll be 'there's (iykwim) so I've change it by upping my target by 3lb, so just another 5lb to go.

B- bran flakes and yoghurt
L - stuffed jackets and ham and salad
D - roast chicken dinner

boats16 · 19/03/2018 13:58

Well done Testarossa
