Huge gain this week, been on plan with food so my one night out shouldn't have been that bad. Just hoping it's because I'm having a bitch of a period right now and I'll be back to normal next week. Sad

Trills · 20/09/2017 18:56
  • 1.5 this week but I have been away so not too bad. I was hoping for just "not more than 2".

Trying to be absolutely on it this week.

I think this means eating a lot of speed food.

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2017 19:38

Welcome newbies and well done losers.

I'm finally back in the swing of it. Decided I needed some new clothes to help me get in the mood 😁So nice picking up size small things from shops I couldn't buy from last year.

Bumped into a friend tonight I'd not seen in over a year, and she didn't recognise me at first. I had to say who I was! Love it when that happens.

Trills · 20/09/2017 20:10

Tomorrow is planned. I've got overnight oats in the fridge, boiled eggs and gherkins in a small tub, cut up melon and raspberries in a bigger tub, and a big pot of thick lentil soup ready for lunch.

I might be posting slightly dull "this is what I'm eating" posts here to help me do a good week, hope you don't mind. I like reading what other people are eating. :)

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2017 20:23

Whatever helps Trills.

Trills · 20/09/2017 20:24

I am now looking at your name and thinking of a pea risotto with lemon zest :)

MynewnameisKy · 20/09/2017 20:49

Anybody got any packed lunch ideas? Work days are my biggest downfall?

Trills · 20/09/2017 20:52

Do you have access to a microwave? I'm taking in homemade chunky veg and lentil soup to microwave.

If no microwave - couscous with lots of veg in, or pasta salad, or fritatta.

MynewnameisKy · 20/09/2017 21:06

That's a good idea. I might add pasta to my soup. I never find soup filling enough.

Trills · 20/09/2017 21:08

There's lots of lentils in mine, it's definitely on the soup/stew borderline.

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2017 21:33

Egg muffins
Soup
Pasta salads

Groovee · 20/09/2017 22:15

I have a wee omelette maker which makes 2 nice sized omelettes then I serve with salad.

Flutterby81 · 21/09/2017 07:33

Morning everyone and well done to everyone who lost.
watching with interest about lunches to take to work as I'm about to throw some ham and salad in a pot to take with me shortly as I completely forgot to prepare anything last night and struggle with ideas to take. Liking some the ones above though I just need to be more organised.

Mum2lots · 21/09/2017 10:48

Those look interesting. I'll have to check my local Tesco

Groovee · 21/09/2017 15:11

My friend got her too ones in Lidl

Flutterby81 · 21/09/2017 19:34

Just went to tesco to get some of the kiwi berries after seeing that post Grin they were nice I'd definetly buy them again although some of them were a little mushy compared to others but my tesco doesn't always have the freshest fruit!

Trills · 21/09/2017 20:07

Lidl had kiwi berries when I went yesterday.

Also had some Heidi Klum clothes. I saw a couple of things that were nice-but-not-for-me.

ALemonyPea · 21/09/2017 21:20

Welcome Mum, good luck.

Not keen on kiwi, will give the berries a miss. Candy floss grapes otoh, yum!

Lubilu28 · 22/09/2017 13:51

Well that's it I'm not going to weigh myself at home any more!! After feeling like crap thinking I've barely lost a lb, I've come away with a 2.5lb loss!!! Soooo close to that half stone award!! Xx

ALemonyPea · 22/09/2017 14:17

Well done Lubi.

My home scales are 1lb higher than the SW ones. If you want to weigh yourself at home, weigh yourself in the morning the day of your next WI and then you'll be able to gage the difference, as long as you always weigh yourself the same time every day/week. I can weigh 4lb more in the evening, so always weigh myself in the morning.

PositiveAttitude · 23/09/2017 09:51

Hi everyone.

I am still here!!

SW life has been tough since mum died. I stuck to plan totally for 2 weeks, and had 2 gains. I then thought "sod it" and ate everything in sight and the next week I had a loss!! Hmm This week was another gain (deserved). WI day was the day of mum's funeral and for 3 days after the funeral I ate and ate and ate! Blush

So.......plan now: I am away on holiday at the beginning of October. I am NOT going to be on plan during my holiday!! I need to be on plan between now and when i go away, have a good holiday then back on it 100% after the holiday. My lowest weight was a 5stone 1lb loss and i dont want to go back to anything more than a 4.5stone loss when I get back from holiday. I can do this!! I can get back to it!! I wont be weighing in next week, but will have a WI the day before my holiday and then the day after I get back. That should keep me on track and give me the kick up the bum I will need after my holiday.

I am back on here with you lovely lot and will come here for motivation to keep going.

buttwingsham · 23/09/2017 10:20
