Hi to anyone who remembers me! I've not been on the thread for a couple of months. I started SW last October and have lost 5 stone.
Sadly my father died 2 weeks ago and was ill for a while before that. When he was ill and I was caring for him I hardly ate through worry. Now I seem to be comfort eating everything in sight!
I've not been to group for 4 weeks and I know I've put on weight but i can't get focused yet.
Dad was so proud of my weight loss so I won't let it slip and will go back to group.

I have read through your threads and you are all doing so well. I will need inspiration again when I restart! Flowers

So sorry to hear about your dad Lavender 💐 Be kind to yourself. The diet can go on hold until you feel ready. Then take it a meal at a time.

I'm struggling getting back on it. I have a good few days then just fill my face with whatever I can lay my hands on. I'm so embarrassed. I'm dreading the scales. I am refusing to get weighed at the minute, but have said next week I will get weighed. I hate myself right now.

Sorry for your loss lav Flowers just do what you can for now and you will get back to it properly when you are ready.

I think I have quit group. I haven't been for 2 weigh ins now. I said I'd give it till end of Sept and then call target but I was only really doing that so I still had access to the app/website etc but I've realised I don't really use them anyway so I might as well call it quits and go it alone. I can't really make my usual group anymore either as I don't have childcare and DS wouldn't sit through it.

I seem to be able to maintain through sticking to plan about 80% of the time and exercising. All of our meals at home and work lunches are SW friendly so hopefully I'll be ok.

Weigh-in today: 4lb off. This is for two weeks as I couldn't make it to group last week. Very pleased, as I stayed with my cousin this weekend who "doesn't believe in diets" is naturally thin, thinks "you should just eat what your body wants", and offered me chocolate brioche and cheese on toast during my stay, despite me talking about food optimising Hmm. Two more pounds and I'll get my first stone!!

Iv recently started slimming world again but doing it alone at home this time!
Lost 4lb on 1st wi this week but thought a bit of online support/chat might help me stay on track.
I started out at 12:3 and would like to get to 10:2 for a Healthy bmi.

Hi everyone!! Can I join the group?

I started slimming world a couple of weeks ago (my second weigh in is on Friday) I lost 4lbs in my first week!! But I had also lost 4lbs just before starting which was annoying as I could of got my half stone award haha

I'm just really pissed off!! I've been on plan since starting and I havnt cheated or gone over my syns, I've kept a food diary and I have been completely honest with myself. I have weighed myself at home and havnt lost anything!!! I know I really shouldn't but I'm really disappointed! I know my consultant will ask me what went wrong but I can't see what has!!

I'm not gonna give up tho! Has this ever happened to any of you?? I'm gonna throw my scales away haha xxx

When I was doing class back in the summer(before I quit put the weight back on and now restarted) I used to weigh myself at home even though everyone said I shouldn't Injust could t help myself Grin there was a week where I'd been really good and my scales showed I hadn't lost anything went off to group and had lost 1.5lb so hopefully yours will be the same!

Yer I'm gonna put the scales away!! Too tempting to see how I'm doing. I'll wait until Friday to feel frustrated and disappointed!! An 8lb lose in 9 days is a lot so it could just be my bodies catching up to that! Xxx

Hi all, I had a -2.5lbs loss this week (having put on 2.5lbs after holiday the week before!) 🙈

Going to really concentrate on food optimising this week as I feel I've lost my mojo a bit.

-25.5lbs lost so far - aiming for my two stone award next week.

Welcome newbies and well done to the losers.

Basin, I hope you'll stick with us. We can all keep each other going as we step into casserole weather. My group has a new consultant who has some zing to her, but for weeks when we were between consultants it was the support on this thread that kept me going, especially on STS weeks.

The house seems oddly empty without DS2 about, but I'm turning it into a positive by making mushroom stroganoff for tea. DS2 hates mushrooms so it limits how I can use them in family meals.

2lbs off for me today.

I can't stay to group at the mo as I've changed my boys nursery so they don't go on a weds anymore, but from the end of the month my mum has very kindly offered to have them on a weds morning so I can stay.
They are well behaved but only have sleep and dinosaur loud mode so I don't think I can inflict them on the groupGrin

But I need to get back on plan properly.

Thankfully it's coming into soup and stew weather so that makes it easier
