Great news on the job em!

Welcome newbies. I'm back from holiday and have been feeling a bit better last day or so. Managed to have an on plan day today, so have 3 days now till weigh in. Missed last week's class due to holiday and the week before, so if I've sts as two weeks ago I'll be alright about that. Feel enormous today so we'll see!

B overnight oats and eggs
L jacket with tuna and salad
T chilli and rice, berries and yoghurt, one stick of kinder bueno.

Estimate around 11.5 syns, so not bad.

PositiveAttitude · 27/08/2017 02:17

Congrats on the jo Em

My mum passed away less than 3 hours ago. She has been in a nursing home for a few years and it was expected. I had decided to stay the night with her tonight and I am so glad I did. So I have arrived home now after an incredibly stressful day and DS has left half a sticky toffee pudding on the kitchen top. It has taken massive resolve to leave it alone and munch on grapes before I head to bed.

Groovee · 27/08/2017 07:03

So sorry about your mum PA 😘

BasinHaircut · 27/08/2017 07:50

@PositiveAttitude - really sorry to hear about your mum Flowers

FoofFighter · 27/08/2017 17:02

How is everyone getting on today?

B: scrambled eggs, trimmed grilled bacon, tin of plum tomatoes

L: 15g chia seeds (.5 hexb) fat free greek yogurt, a chopped apple

T: veggie dahl and actifry chips (2 syns oil)

might or might not have the rest of my heb and hea later. not worrying if I don't due to a big syn consumption at a party on Friday (should still be within my weekly syns though)

Turquoise0wl · 27/08/2017 17:24

I've had another one of those weeks where I eat shit loads for a day and eat nothing for the rest of the week Sad I had about 6k calories on Monday Shock I weighed half a stone more than I weighed at slimming world that night! I haven't really eaten anything for the rest of the days though, so I'm praying for 2.5 lbs off (currently showing 1.8 lbs off, but haven't had anything today) so I get my 2 st award and club 10 SmileSmileSmile weigh in tomorrow.

I know it's terrible to do this Sad but I find it easier... I just know it's bad for you though. I honestly don't think I've even done slimming world since week 3 (it's now week 8) Sad

Oh, I passed my AS Maths that I retook this year! Sooo happy. I'm applying for uni this year (for next year)!

FoofFighter · 27/08/2017 17:56

Turquoise, have you ever tried getting some help for binging? I think it could be something you could look at doing. You're correct that you're not doing SW now really.
I've thought about it in the past, Overeaters Anon or something.

Well done on your results :D I start Uni soon at 44!! got induction on Friday

Groovee · 27/08/2017 18:09

Turquoise it sounds like you could do with some help for your binging. I had a friend who ended up anorexic and it wasn't easy for her or us.

Made some apple and Rhubarb turnovers using a weight watchers wrap as my HEB. It doesn't look amazing but it made me feel like I had a nice treat. Was possibly about 1 syn or less.

FoofFighter · 27/08/2017 19:12

OOH YUMMY GROOVEE

OwlinaTree · 27/08/2017 19:21

Sorry about your mum pa. We've had a funny day here as sil has had an emergency c section and the baby is quite poorly in nicu. This is bringing back bad memories for me and my dh, so we are a bit on edge waiting for news.

B Shreddies, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs
L jacket and tuna and salad
T Thai fish, rice and veg.

About 8.5syns so far.

Groovester · 27/08/2017 19:45

Much love pa xx

Trills · 27/08/2017 20:15

Sorry about your mum PA< and well done Turquoise.

I'm trying to bake some meatballs made of 5% fat mince in the oven. Not for health so much as because I can't be arsed to stand over the hob stirring them in a pan.

Tweetypie30 · 27/08/2017 20:29

I've just had the lentil pie that Foof recommended with some slimming world chips and salad. Absolutely delicious. I can't wait to see how it tastes cold tomorrow for my lunch.

QueenofLouisiana · 27/08/2017 20:38

B: yoghurt, strawberries and banana
L: baked beans, mushrooms, fried egg (low cal spray) and quorn sausages (1 syn)
D: quorn steak, salad, corn on the cob, small amount of Iceland potato salad for something "wet" to go on the salad.
Snack: apple, carrot sticks

HEA will be cheese for our "cheese board" supper. Melba toast and water biscuits will add 2 syns.
HEB 14 cashew nuts

I couldn't make my overnight oats last night (forgot as I was going out) and I really missed that start to my day.

FoofFighter · 27/08/2017 21:55

Owlina - love coming your way too Flowers

Groovee · 27/08/2017 22:13

@OwlinaTree Flowers

OwlinaTree · 27/08/2017 22:36

Thanks guys

Groovee · 27/08/2017 22:56

I've done overnight grape-nuts with choc shot and vanilla flavoured quark with fruit on top. Will see how we go x

Groovee · 28/08/2017 07:43

The overnight grape-nuts was very cheesecake like. Really enjoyed it and feel quite full.
